After shocking the boxing world with a massive upset against Anthony Joshua on June 1, Andy Ruiz jr. wants to beat him again in a rematch and then fight Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury.

Everyone is still talking about how Ruiz scored a seventh round TKO of Joshua to win the WBA, IBF & WBO Heavyweight titles and become the first Heavyweight World Champion of Mexican descent, in an upset reminiscent of Buster Douglas over Mike Tyson in 1990 and he believes he will win the rematch, so he's already lining up big name opponents for the future.

[/]{"component": "embedHTML", "code": "

Does Andy Ruiz Jr have the fastest hands in the heavyweight division right now?πŸ‘€πŸ’¨ #AndyRuizJr pic.twitter.com/t12LKG5ErS
β€” BOXINGCONNOISSEUR (@bxngconnoisseur) June 6, 2019
"}[/]

Ruiz's team aims at winning the rematch with Joshua and then challenge Deontay Wilder to take his WBC title and complete the heavyweight collection. His father, Andres Ruiz, told Boxing Scene that he has confidence in his son beating Joshua again.

"It's best for Andy, and I do not have the slightest doubt of him winning. For this fight we had little preparation time, because we came in as a replacement, but with more time to prepare we will arrive much better.

Many can say that they will win, but it is like a snake, you hypnotize them and they do not know what to do in the ring, so [Andy] has beaten everyone and will continue to do so."

Andres Ruiz then started mentioning potential opponents for his son and said that winning the remaining title should be the priority:

"In addition to Joshua, there are many opponents for him. There is Wilder and also there is Tyson Fury, a fight with him would also interest us. As I said, the main objective is to conquer all the titles and we only need one more.

We already won three belts that night in a fight where nobody had faith in us, only those of us who were part of the team knew that we could win, we always had confidence in taking the titles. Now we want Wilder's, we're going to destroy him, you're going to see. We just need that one."

Anthony Joshua was supposed to defend his titles against Jarrell "Big Baby" Miller, who tested positive for performance-enhancing supplements and was denied a license by the NYSAC.

Joshua was a -3000 favorite at most sportsbooks while Andy Ruiz Jr. was a +1200 underdog. The former champion came into the fight with a 22-0 record (21 KOs) while Ruiz was 32-1, also with 21 knockouts.

[/]{"component": "embedHTML", "code": "

Andy Ruiz was never unathletic..let’s just make that clear. 260+ and more agile than a lot of middleweights out there. pic.twitter.com/SlYfvWZk5c
β€” Austin Ampeloquio (@AustinAmpy) June 2, 2019
"}[/]

As far as a potential rematch, the WBO mandatory is due at the end of September (the current WBO No. 1 ranked Heavyweight is Dillian Whyte) and although rematch clauses do not trump mandatories, Joshua-Ruiz II is likely for November or December and an announcement could be made in the coming weeks.

Joshua's promoter, Eddie Hearn, told iFL TV of a fight announcement: "In the next two weeks – right now we're just taking in all the offers from around the world to stage this fight. And it’s shocked me, everybody wants it."

Joshua-Ruiz II Odds
(Courtesy of William Hill)

Joshua -333

Ruiz Jr. +250

Draw +2500
