What a start for the Hornets, who more than held their own in their Premier League opener against Everton last weekend. How will the newly relegated outfit fare in its home debut?

Odds Overview
The Premier League odds are pretty clear cut: Watford is the firm favorite at right around +125 to secure all three points on their own pitch. Some sites go as high as +130, but for the most part we see +125.

If you think the Baggies have a great chance of bouncing back after a poor first league match of season, you can get a nice price at this time. They're trading in the +215 to +250 range, with a draw available at a similiar type of number.

Watford
Not a bad first impression, right? Watford was one of the biggest underdogs on the soccer odds board during the opening weekend of the Premier League season, and you could see why. A trip to Goodison Park to play Everton is never going to be easy, especially for a team that was just moved up from the Championship.

However, the Hornets rose to the occasion and then some, and they displayed no fear on their way to a well-earned 2-2 draw against the Toffees. Watford went ahead early in the 13th minute through a Miguel Laytun goal, and that 1-0 scoreline stood still for quite some time until Ross Barkley evened the match in the 76th minute. The Hornets went ahead once again just seven minutes later (on an Odion Ighalo goal), but that lead evaporated once again.

Despite failing to hold onto that lead, Watford has to be extremely happy with the performance, and now the Hornets get to play in front of their own supporters in a very winnable showdown versus West Brom. Look for Troy Deeney to be the main danger man for Watford in 2015 after posting 20+ goals in each of his last three campaigns.

West Brom
Expectations weren't exactly all that high for West Brom heading into the season, but the Baggies were even more underwhelming than expected in their first taste of Premier League action this season. They were thoroughly outplayed in a 3-0 home loss against Manchester City.

Rickie Lambert stepped into the starting XI and started up front alongside Saido Berahino, while Darren Fletcher was back and manning the middle of the park for the Baggies. Berahino is the one we're watching closely though, as he's coming off what was easily his most productive individual season; he bagged 14 goals for the club last season.

What gets us most excited about siding with West Brom is the manager, however. Tony Pulis has worked his magic numerous times in this league and he's going to keep doing it no matter what club he's with. Let's see what he has in store for Watford on Saturday.

Premier League Pick
First things first: we were very impressed indeed with what we saw out of the fearless Hornets against a solid Everton team. With that being said, we feel that result may lead to Watford being overvalued for this weekend's meeting with West Brom.

As we know, the Baggies didn't play well at all against Manchester City, and they're going to want to bounce back with a much better all-around effort this Saturday. This is an experienced squad, one that will be grinding out some very positive results throughout the season, so they'll know how to deal with the tough atmosphere.

We simply don't see a huge edge in backing either one of these teams; West Brom was awful last week but should perform better here, and we look for the visitors to earn at least a point, primarily because we believe in Pulis so much. Indeed, with our soccer picks, we're recommending a small wager on the draw.

Premier League Pick: Watford 1 West Brom 1
