Vasyl Lomachenko puts the WBA (Super), WBO and The Ring lightweight titles on the line while looking to add the vacant WBC belt when he battles Luke Campbell on Saturday.

The Ukrainian is a former featherweight and super featherweight and he became the fastest three-weight world champion in history after beating Jorge Linares on May 12, 2018 at lightweight.

The 31-year old won gold at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing as a Featherweight and at the 2012 Olympic Games in London as a Lightweight and he added the WBO World Light Title by defeating Jose Pedraza on December 8. He then defended his titles easily in a fourth-round knockout of Anthony Crolla on April 12 in Los Angeles.

Campbell, who also won a gold medal at the London 2012 Olympic Games (as a Bantamweight), was able to get his career back on track after a surprising loss against Yvan Mendy on December 12, 2015. He won his next five fights to earn a title shot against Jorge Linares on September 23, 2017 and he lost a split decision in a very even bout at the Forum in Inglewood, California. The 31-year-old from the United Kingdom then won three fights in a row via stoppage, including one to avenge his defeat against Mendy. He also beat Troy James and Adrian Yung.

[/]{"component": "embedHTML", "code": "

Our next show 👁👁 #LomaCampbell pic.twitter.com/0ZUBVvdbFF
— Matchroom Boxing (@MatchroomBoxing) August 25, 2019
"}[/]

Luke Campbell has a height and reach advantage and he won't stun Vasyl Lomachenko unless he exploits this. Styles make fights and Lomachenko's hand speed, technique and footwork can prove to be too much for Campbell. It's hard to expect an outcome different than a comfortable stoppage win for Lomachenko.

Campbell has a split decision loss against Linares, who Lomachenko stopped with a beautiful punch to the liver in the tenth round. The Ukrainian is quicker than Campbell and he has the technique to negate his height and reach disadvantage. I like Lomachenko to finish this fight in the late rounds.
