Group B is set to come to a head as both Germany and Norway look to clinch top spot. Join us as we preview this sections highly anticipated deciding round and serve up our choice soccer picks.

Germany -20000 vs. Thailand +5000
Although Germany were dealt a minor setback in round 2 behind a 1-1 draw to Norway, nobody doubts they'll advance into the knockouts. Group B was endowed with two of the competitions biggest lightweights in Thailand and Ivory Coast. Germany opened their tournament against the African minnows and decimated them 10-0. Thanks to that opening round match they lead Group B with a plus 10-differential, and those numbers should swell with another goal fest against Thailand.

It would be nice to say that it's going to be a competitive and tight game, fitting for the end of group play. Alas, it's not looking likely. If the soccer odds were any indication, one fears for the Thailand women, who did remarkably well to clinch three points at the expense of Ivory Coast. Doing it by coming back from behind to win 3-2 against the soccer odds. It's a shame that their tournament is going to end against one of the competitiion's powerhouses and it's going to be a clinic. But that's the way the ball rolls, as they say.

Betting on Germany in straight up betting is not even worth it at -20000 soccer odds. So soccer bettors will need to be sharp about their soccer picks. No on both teams to score at -225 soccer odds is a reasonable soccer pick. We've also cast our eye on Germany at -6.5, -7.0 at 1.850  and Germany at -7.0 at +125 on the handicap result at Bet365.

Soccer Picks: No on both teams to score at -225 & Germany -7.0 at +125

Ivory Coast +5000 and Norway -10000
Ivory Coast are pointless after two rounds of the competition and in sporting a -11 goal differential, which is the proverbial sinkhole. To all intents and purposes, their Women’s World Cup campaign is all but over. It would take a monumental feat to climb out of Group B's basement and clinch third spot and advancement into the knockouts.

Norway did the hard part by forcing a draw on group B favourites Germany. After opening their campaign with a 4-0 drumming over Thailand, they improved their bid for a R16 spot with the pivotal draw, to the shock of many soccer bettors. Advancement is all but assured and, most likely, they'll clinch second spot unless they can sink Ivory Coast under a barrage of goals that would lift them above Germany on goal differential in the table.

As it is, the soccer betting markets are lopsided for this game. There's no value in Norway on the money line at -10000. So soccer bettors will need to look to periphery Women's World Cup Prop Betting Markets, such as the handicap and totals. We're leaning towards No on both teams to score at -200 as a likely soccer pick. Norway at 4.5 1.850 on the Asian handicap and  Norway at -5.0 at +150 on the handicap result at Bet365.

Soccer Picks: No on both teams to score -200 & Norway -5.0 +150
