We went 1 and 1 with our picks. Francis Ngannou came through for us with a first round KO and that covered the loss with Daley and then some! Daley came in with a game plan we have never seen from him and the whole fight came down to one mistake in the 5th round where Daley gave up his back giving MVP the round and the decision win. Even though the pick did not come through we got line value at +185 on Daley the with how close the fight was.

This week the UFC heads to Prague and UFC Fight Night 145 features two up and coming light heavyweights. Thiago Santos moved up from 185 to 205 and has looked beastly since. He is one of those fighters who appears to have had durability problems from their weight cuts and since moving to 205 he has looked fantastic and is currently on a 3 fight win streak. Jan Blachowicz is riding a 4 fight win streak and in his most recent outing submitted Nikita Krylov who was on a 4 fight win streak himself before running into Jan. Both men are 35 and trying to make a legitimate run at the title while they are at the tail end of their fighting primes.

[/]{"component": "embedHTML", "code": "

Está chegando a hora!
The time is coming!
.#MarretaNoCombate #UFCPragaNoCombate#ufcpraga #ufcprague #mainevent #TeamMarreta #MarretaNeles #DaCDDproMundo #OceanFarma #VenumBr #CTThiagoMarreta #InoxCrossFit #TeamDrDouglasTigre #tmarreta #TFT #ATT #Gomarreta #Thiagomarreta #UFC ;/a>
— Thiago Marreta (@TMarretaMMA) February 12, 2019
\n\n"}[/]

Unfortunately the bookmakers are overloaded with MMA this week and they have not offered us lines for UFC Fight Night 145 just yet. Because of that I have no line in order to give an “Official Pick” for this week, but I am going to be on Santos and I would look for an inside the distance prop. He has a top notch killer instinct that flips as soon as he knows his opponent is hurt, his chin doesn't seem to be an issue at all since moving up to 205, AND he has looked more impressive winning his last two by KO/TKO. At 205 Santos is a knock out machine and he doesn't stop moving forward unless you shut his lights off.

Another exciting fight on this card I will look forward to lines on is Peter Yan against John Dodson. Dodson is 34 years old and seems to be slowing down just a bit. When he came off the Ultimate Fighter he was the fastest man on the UFC roster and gave DJ a run for his money in their title fight. Dodson is still extremely fast, but people seem to have figured him out a bit as he has struggled a bit in his last several fights. In his last 8, Dodson has alternated wins and losses while Yan is 11-1 with his sole loss coming by split decision. Dodson is not an easy man to finish but Yan is the younger fresher fighter and he is surging! I would look to take Yan by decision and roll the dice on Dodson being able to take the punishment and move enough to make it to the final bell, but not take the win home.
