In-form Belgian cup holders and league leaders face one of two remaining Ukrainian sides in the last eight. William Hill's Lee Phelps has the odds at his finger tips for his free betting pick.

This Europa League quarter final pits the best team in Belgium against the third best in Ukraine (based on the league tables at the time of writing). There is something else that splits these teams, which may be the difference between them. Club Brugge are on a roll and at the moment of press they are a +100 on the  UEFA Europa League Odds board.

Club Brugge
The Belgian league leaders have just won the Belgian Cup and have their eyes set on winning the title and progressing to the semi-finals of the UEFA Europa League.

A wonder striker from Lior Refaelov in the 92nd minute beat Anderlecht 2-1 and looks to have given them some serious momentum. It’s not like they were missing any, they hadn’t lost in the previous 10 matches in league and cups.

Looking at the reaction from that win it’s clear what the players are looking at now. Ruud Vormer said: “Now we can put our focus on the title and on the Quarter Finals. Things are great in our group, the atmosphere has been grand ever since our qualification in Istanbul. We now have a week's rest, and the week after, there's the game against Standard. Things are perfect in our group; it's one big group, no one's singled out.”

They are the only unbeaten team left in the Europa League too, so confidence is as high as it can be. The one negative is the switching of the home and away legs, because Kyiv had already been drawn at home Dnipro will now play the home game second, which is usually deemed an advantage.

It may not matter the way Brugge have been scoring away goals, they have amassed 17 in their eight matches, with a blank against Torino, but three away at Besiktas. So they know a strong result at home, will give them a huge chance of a last four spot.

The form at their stadium is great too, with only one defeat since the start of 2014 and protecting an unbeaten record this season in all competitions.

Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk
The Ukrainians have their own Cup ambitions back home with a double-headed quarter-final against Chernomorets before their Belgian trip. They are safely qualified for next season’s Europa League with a 13 point cushion and nine league games to go.

Dnipro’s European form has been a little suspect for me, with as many losses as wins and two draws, scoring 10 and conceding nine. Their away form in this season’s comp shows just one win, but they have scored at Inter, Ajax and Olimpiakos.

They do have one very big weapon, in Yevhen Konoplyanka. The midfielder is in great form and scored the crucial away goal in extra time to put Ajax out in the last round. If Brugge keep him quiet they could dominate this tie.

Soccer Pick
Given Brugge’s excellent home form, I can’t see them losing and I think their confidence and Dnipro’s poor away record means a home win is a fair soccer pick here at 2.15, but I’m going to trust Dnipro to grab an away goal.
