England take on Lithuania in EURO 2016 Qualifying on Friday, a game that is almost certain to go the way of the Three Lions. It's a lopsided soccer betting market as a result, but we've found some gem soccer picks nonetheless.

England Prohibitive Faves
The Three Lions have a commanding lead over Group E, highlighted by a six-point edge. It's a promising to start to their qualifying campaign and one that doesn't appear to be under any threat this week when they take on group minnows Lithuania.

England are undefeated through four qualifying games, having beaten Switzerland 2-0, San Marino 5-0, Estonia 1-0 and Slovenia 3-1. They are 2-0-0 both home and away and boast a healthy 10-goal differential after scoring 11 goals and conceding 1 goal.

Predictably, the Three Lions are installed as the whopping -900 favorites to win outright on Friday at the expense of Lithuania. When it comes to qualifying campaigns, backing England on your soccer picks is typically a good move. For the most part, they can be relied upon to beat the teams they are supposed to beat. It's not until the actual event itself that things go tits up for the national side.

Lithuania Hallucinatory Underdogs
Fourth in Group E behind a 2-0-2 mark, Lithuania have all to do to qualify for EURO 2016. Indeed, since the breakup of the Soviet Union the Lithuanian national team hasn't seen inside a major event and, unfortunately, it's not looking likely it is going to this time around either. Not unless something spectacularly favourable happens down the stretch, which is a pipedream (no offense).

As it is, Lithuania are level on points with Switzerland and Slovenia but trail on goal differential. Needless to say, the qualifications are only four games deep so that proximity to the group's perceived contenders is sure to change with more matches in the books.

Case-and-point, Lithuania's  wins have come at the expense of group lightweights San Marino and Estonia. Two sides that currently prop up Group E. Against the group contenders they've come away not only pointless but also without striking a chord. They lost to Slovenia and Switzerland by a combined score of 6-0. Given these accounts, is it any wonder Lithuania are trading at +3300 soccer odds to win outright on Friday? Or that the draw is trading at +900 soccer odds?

Soccer Betting Verdict:
The upshot of such a lopsided soccer betting market is a shortage of good soccer picks. It's akin to searching for the proverbial needle in the haystack, you could say. Fortunately, we're undeterred and we've sorted through the lot in order to serve up some value soccer picks.

If you're looking to back England, you can skip their money line odds of -900. That is unless you have silly money to throw away. You're best served looking at half-time markets where you can back England to win both halves at -250 soccer odds, which appears to be the most likely result.

A draw-England bet in halftime /fulltime markets is trading at +240 EURO 2016 Qualifying odds. It's possible England would get off to a slow start before taking it up a notch in the second half. Then again, it's more likely they would get off to a flying start before relaxing in the second half, in which case you might fancy the England-draw bet at +4000 soccer odds.

England have dominated lesser opponents in qualification campaigns at home so taking the Over 2.5 at -174 soccer odds also seems like a good option. You can even get Over 3.5 at +115 at William Hill, which makes for an even bigger bang for your bucks.

So there you have it, a few soccer picks to consider for what is surely to be a straightforward game on the day's soccer betting card.
