Let’s get you up to date with four thumbnail sketch previews of the second Legs and provide some hopefully logical soccer picks to help with attack at the betting windows. Let’s dance.

Barcelona vs. Arsenal
English Premier League side Arsenal heads to Spain on Wednesday to face Barcelona at Camp Nou in Leg 2 of their Round of 16 UEFA Champions League series.

Oddsmakers here have made living legend Lionel Messi and hosts Barcelona big -450 favorites over the visiting Gunners (+1000) (Sportingbet) in the Three-Way (Winner) marketplace with the Draw is priced at +550. The Total (Goals) is set at a Barcelona-ish 3½ with the Over priced at -110 and the Under at -125 (bet365) while the Both Teams To Score Prop odds in this second leg sees the “Yes” at -105 and the “No” at -125 (bet365). The Draw No Bet odds sees La Liga leaders Barça lined at -1600 and Arsenal at +900 (bet365) while the To Qualify (Advance to Next Round) odds sees Barcelona priced at -10,000 and now huge series underdog Arsenal at +2500 (bet365). A good Prop possibly for this game: To Win To Nil: Barcelona +105, Arsenal +2000 (Coral).

What’s Up: Lionel Messi (+275 First Goalscorer, Coral) and Barcelona won the first leg, 2-0, at Emirates Stadium in North London as Messi scored both goals for the visitors, so Manager Arsene Wenger and Arsenal are chasing 2 goals on hostile soil against the defending title holders with three of the best attackers on the planet in Messi (Anytime Goalscorer -162, Coral), Neymar (Anytime Goalscorer +100, Coral) and Luis Suárez (Anytime Goalscorer -137, Coral) along with other world-class players like Arda Turan (Anytime Goalscorer +240, William Hill), Andrés Iniesta and Ivan Rakitic.

The Gunners have their own elite players in GK Petr Cech, Alexis Sánchez (Anytime Goalscorer +400, Coral) and playmaker Mesut Özil (Anytime Goalscorer +550, Coral) although comparing Arsenal’s talent to Barcelona’s is like comparing a used Cadillac to a new Maserati. With really no pressure on, a bigger sight in mind—to be the first repeat Champions league winners—and the site on their side, the catalans should roll here with the usual suspects probably accounting for all three predicted goals.

Bayern Munich vs. Juventus
Gianluigi Buffon and Italian Serie A champions Juventus head to the glorious Allianz Arena and Munich, Germany on Wednesday night to face Thomas Müller and Fußball-Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich in Leg 2 of their Round of 16 UEFA Champions League series.

Oddsmakers here have made hosts Bayern Munich solid -250 favorites over visitors Juventus (+700) (bet365) in the Three-Way (Winner) marketplace with the Draw is priced at +350. The Total (Goals) in this match is 2½ with the Over priced at +110 and the Under at -137 (totesport) while the Both Teams To Score Prop odds in this second leg sees the “Yes” at -105 and the “No” at -125 (bet365). The Draw No Bet odds sees Bavarian hosts Bayern PSG priced at -700 with the Old Lady Juventus at +400 (Sky Bet) while the To Qualify (Advance) odds see GK extraordinaire Manuel Neuer and Bayern Munich lined at -600 and series underdog Juventus priced at +400 (bet365).

What’s Up: Bayern Munich led Leg 1 at Juventus Stadium in Turin, 2-0—and scored 2 valuable Road goals—but the Old Lady rallied for two 2nd Half goals to earn a 2-2 Draw in Leg 1 of their UEFA Champions league Round of 16 series. Familiar names Thomas Müller and Arjen Robben were the goalscorers for the visitors while Paulo Dybala and substitute Stefano Sturaro tallied for Juventus, giving them some valuable confidence heading to Allianz Arena mid-week. But this is a tough place for opponents to play, let alone get a result and the first goal here (if there is one) will be the most important first goal of the four Leg 2’s to be played this coming week. Easily.

The Italian champs were without their two best Defenders including Giorgio Chiellini while Bayern Munich had its share of Injuries to deal with itself. Bayern Munich Manager Pep Guardiola has been under fire for some of his decision-making of late, and rightfully so as this club is just not playing as strong both in Fußball-Bundesliga or the Champions League although with cagey guys like Müller (+225 Anytime Goalscorer, Betfair), old Dutchman Robben (+350 Anytime Goalscorer, Betfair), Robert Lewandowski (+162 Anytime Goalscorer, Betfair), Franck Ribery and Douglas Costa (+450 Anytime Goalscorer, Betfair), this side will be more apt to create the necessary goal or goals in this important situation.

But veteran GK Buffon and Juventus could very well win this match, but getting that first goal will be imperative to that end. With Arturo Vidal (+550 Anytime Goalscorer, Betfair), Alvaro Morata (+350 Anytime Goalscorer, Betfair), Mario Mandzukic (+225 Anytime Goalscorer, Betfair) and the overrated Paul Pogba (+450 Anytime Goalscorer, Betfair), the Old Lady has the talent but can it mesh here in the right place at the right time? Most of the Round of 16 matches have honestly been boring (as well as some of the matchups) but this one promises to thrill with that 2-2 aggregate scoreline heading in, although the two Bayern Munich Road goals and all those loyal Der FCB fans are worth a lot more than a computer screen, mobile device or simple words can convey. The Site (Allianz Arena) itself ends up winning the match as well as the series. Glorious indeed.

Atlético Madrid vs. PSV
Dutch champions PSV head to Madrid on Tuesday to face Atlético Madrid in Vicente Calderón Stadium in Madrid in Leg 2 of their Round of 16 UEFA Champions League series.

soccer odds makers here have made hosts Atlético Madrid solid -240 favorites over visitors PSV (+1200) (Bet365) in the Three-Way (Winner) marketplace with the Draw is priced at +420. The Total (Goals) in this match is 2½ with the Over priced at -111 and the Under at -118 (Marathon) while the Both Teams To Score Prop odds in this second leg sees the “Yes” at +162 and the “No” at -225 (bet365)—one of those rare odds that reveals so much about the game itself.

The Draw No Bet odds sees Atlético Madrid priced at -1200 and PSV at +600 (Sky Bet) while the To Qualify (Advance to Next Round) odds see Atlético Madrid at -433 and series underdog PSV priced at +350 (Marathon). A good Prop possibly for this game: Correct Score: Atlético Madrid 1-0 +470 (Marathon), Atlético Madrid 2-0 at +475 (BetVictor) and 0-0 at +900 (totesport).

What’s Up: In Leg 1 at Philips Stadion in Eindhoven, Netherlands, these two clubs played to a 0-0 Draw as Atlético Madrid had the bulk of the opportunities (57%-43% Possession) but failed to put the ball in the net against the 10-man hosts who held their own in the end despite losing Gaston Pereiro at the 68-minute mark. Los Rojiblancos went in conceding just 3 goals in 4 UEFA Champions league Group Stage matches and PSV-Eindhoven forced Atleti GK Jan Oblak into just 1 save in the tie in Leg 1.

Here, expect the hosts to go for the early goal as a PSV Road goal would mean that Atlético Madrid would have to score at least twice to win and move on to the Semifinals. But nobody ever seems to score on Los Rojiblancos. Atlético Madrid and Manager Diego Simeone will look to Forwards Antoine Griezmann and 21-year-old Spaniard Ángel Martín Correa for scoring here with players like Koke, Juanfran, Gabi, Diego Godin and Luciano Vietto for help although this club’s Offense has been failing to click and Vietto and reserve Fernando Torres look out of form, although Torres has been out of form since the late Cretaceous Period. But one way or another, expect Atlético Madrid to get that precious first score—probably through Correa (+120 Anytime Goalscorer, Coral) or Koke (+333 Anytime Goalscorer, PaddyPower)—at the friendly confines of the Calderón and to emerge victorious and on to the Semifinals, even if not in an extremely impressive fashion. Workmanlike.

Manchester City vs. Dynamo Kiev
English Premier League side Manchester City Welcome Ukrainian champions Dynamo Kiev to the Etihad Stadium in Greater Manchester, England on Tuesday for Leg 2 of their Round of 16 UEFA Champions League series.

Oddsmakers here have made hosts Manchester City solid -187 favorites over visitors Dynamo Kiev (+475) (bet365) in the Three-Way (Winner) marketplace with the Draw is priced at +320. The Total (Goals) in this match is 2½ with the Over priced at -133 and the Under at -105 (Boylesports) while the Both Teams To Score Prop odds in this second leg sees the “Yes” at -133 and the “No” at +100 (bet365). The Draw No Bet odds sees the host Sky Blues priced at -450 with Dynamo Kiev at +300 (bet365) while the To Qualify (Advance to Next Round) odds see Manchester City at -10,000 and now series monster underdog Dynamo Kiev priced at +2500 (bet365). A good Prop possibly for this game with Joe Hart as Citizens GK: To Win To Nil: Manchester City +137, Dynamo Kiev+1050 (BetVictor).

What’s Up: Manchester City won Leg 1 at the Olimpiyskiy National Sports Complex in a frigid Kiev, Ukraine by a 3-1 scoreline as Sergio Agüero (Anytime Goalscorer -137, William Hill) and David Silva scored 1st Half goals as the visitors played one of their best matches of the year. Raheem Sterling, Fernando, Fernandinho and Yaya Touré all had good games for City while GK Joe Hart was his dependable self, stopping a vicious attempt from Dynamo Kiev Forward Andriy Yarmolenko to keep the momentum on the EPL club’s side. The Citizens tied 0-0 at Norwich City on Saturday, further dampening the Sky Blues Premier League title hopes, so expect Manager Manuel Pellegrini to shift some focus (whether he’ll admit it or not) to making a serious run in Champions League.

So expect veteran Dynamo Kiev GK Oleksandr Shovkovskiy to be peppered all day by the likes of Agüero, Silva, Touré, Sterling, Kevin De Bruyne and maybe Wilfried Bony. And with Manchester City having not allowed a goal in its L3 games and in a foul mood after that scoreless Draw with the Canaries, expect this high-priced Roster to come out with a purpose here, even heading in with a 2-goal lead. Agüero, Silva Sterling and Toure will be forced to push the pace with Dynamo Kiev chasing goals and facing elimination but in the end, my soccer pick & prediction is that their combined Sky Blue talents and desire will be just too much for PSV.
