It all comes down to this. Real and Atletico aren't just playing for a trophy – they're fighting it out for bragging rights in the divided city of Madrid. Who will survive and emerge as the Champions League winners this weekend?

Odds Overview
The soccer betting lines favor Real Madrid, who are listed at an even +100 to win after the 90 minutes (and stoppage time) is up. Atletico is available at roughly +330, with a draw at +250.

With extra-time and a possible shootout included, a Real Madrid victory is trading at -210, while you can side with the Mattress Makers at +175.

Real Madrid
Carlo Ancelotti's men have had another successful, title-winning season.

Los Blancos may have fallen short in La Liga – ultimately they finished third on goal differential, despite being tied on points with Barcelona – but they won the Copa del Rey over Barcelona and now have a chance at a double with the Champions League trophy in sight.

In Europe, it's been quite a dominating run for Cristiano Ronaldo and company. They were excellent in the group stages, advancing as the number one seed in a group featuring Juventus, Galatasary and FC Copenhagen.

Matched up with Schalke in the Round of 16, Real Madrid had little trouble, winning 9-2 on aggregate. Los Blancos then overcame Borussia Dortmund (3-2 on aggregate) in the quarters and Bayern Munich (5-0) in the semis.

Looking ahead to the final, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale are both expected to feature despite not getting full training sessions in. Unfortunately for Ancelotti, he won't be able to call on Xabi Alonso, who will be suspended after picking up a yellow against Bayern. That's a tough loss in the center midfield.

Atletico Madrid
Raise your hand if you thought Atletico would be the La Liga champions for 2013/14.

What a truly remarkable run it's been for Diego Simeone's side. He's done a wonderful job of keeping his team together and believing that anything's possible, and now here the Mattress Makers stand 90 minutes away from a possible La Liga and Champions League double.

You can't say Atletico lucked into the league trophy either. They had plenty of fantastic results, topped off by the most important of them all on the last playday of the campaign. The Mattress Makers went into Camp Nou and earned a 1-1 draw to give them the title. It doesn't get much better than that.

Now the focus shifts to this upcoming European spectacle in Lisbon. In the knockout stages of the competition so far, Atletico has beaten three world powerhouses in AC Milan (5-1 on aggregate), Barcelona (2-1) and Chelsea (3-1).

The bad news? There's a legitimate chance Diego Costa and Arda Turan could be unavailable this weekend. Costa, who's been the top goalscorer for the club, has a hamstring issue, while it's been rumored that Turan is hobbled by a persistent groin problem. Not having either, or potentially both, of those talents would be a massive obstacle to overcome for Atletico.

Champions League Pick
As talented as Real Madrid is, this has been a truly special campaign for Atletico and we wouldn't put it past them to shock the world and earn a historic double with a win this weekend.

But, we're going to play it safe and take Los Blancos to be the last ones standing. Ronaldo and Bale are both healthy and raring to go and we simply think Real's extra bit of individual quality will make the difference.

Few teams are more united and play better together than Atletico, but Los Blancos have the talent and experience to secure the glory. Their team is filled to the brim with players that have all played on the biggest stage possible, so we'll be adding them (at roughly +100) in our soccer picks to outlast the pesky Mattress Makers, especially should either Costa or Turan miss out.
