Toronto FC faces the Seattle Sounders at BMO Field in Toronto on Saturday in a chance for each club to win their first MLS Cup. With the Reds getting the Home-pitch edge by virtue of their higher-seed, it seems the advantage here goes with the hosts who also have some other things like the 3-hour Body Clock time difference going their way.

Toronto FC vs. Seattle Sounders, BMO Field, Toronto, Ontario, 8 p.m. EST

Like host Toronto FC, Seattle Sounders will be appearing in their first MLS Cup Final on Saturday night at BMO Field (Grass) in Toronto, Ontario where the Polar Vortex may play its part in MLS history off Lake Ontario.

By virtue of their higher seed (3rd place in Eastern Conference), Sebastian Giovinco and the Reds got the big Home-pitch edge here over 4th-place (Western Conference) Seattle which looked like a team far from making the Playoffs all Regular Season.

Soccer odds see host Toronto -110 Favorites with Seattle +270 underdogs and the (90-minute) Draw priced at+235 ( at BetOnline) with the Total at 2½ Over -112 (BetOnline). The Odds To Win Outright Toronto FC -175 and the Clint Dempsey-less Sounders +125. The Reds rallied to oust the Montréal Impact in the Eastern Conference Finals while the Sounders and sparkplug Nicolás Lodeiro (8 goals) defeated the Colorado Rapids, winning both Legs.

Series History, Expected Pace, Expectations, Betting Approaches

All-Time in this inter-conference MLS series, GK Stefan Frei, Chad Marshall and Seattle have gone an impressive 7-2-2 (18 GF-10 GA) against Toronto—the two sides played to a 1-1 Draw in Toronto on July 2—with the Sounders 3-1-1 (6 GF-4 GA) in Toronto but those Reds teams didn’t have the firepower, Confidence, Momentum or Expectations that this particular one does. GK Clint Irwin and the Reds want this championship for club, city, province and country.

With the prolific Giovinco, Jozy Altidore, Canadian Jordan Hamilton and leader Michael Bradley, the host Reds could score 3 goals themselves and go Over the posted Total in this winner-take-all spot and with Lodeiro and Jordan Morris, Seattle has its own Offensive gunners and backing the Both Teams To Score Prop seems wise here, even with the frigid forecasted temperatures and potential Snow. Expect the Reds to come out quick and there should be a goal in the first 30 minutes or so here with all of the pressure.
