Join us and find out our two top betting selections for the ATP & WTA Rome Finals. We'll provide a detailed analysis, explaining why you should grab these two valuable tennis picks.

Novak Djokovic (1) vs Andy Murray (2)
It has been an incredibly tough week for Novak Djokovic in Rome. On the first round he only got the job done by 7 – 5 7 – 5 against an inspired Stephane Robert while on the following round he recovered from a bagel down to defeat Thomaz Bellucci. Things got even harder on the last two matches, with Djokovic emerging victorious by 7 – 5 7 – 6 against Rafael Nadal and at the semifinals, the Serbian recovered once again from a set down on a three-hours marathon against Kei Nishikori.

Andy Murray is, for the first time on his career, in the final of this event after an overwhelming performance against Lucas Pouille, dismissing the French by 6 – 2 6 – 1. We mentioned in our tournament preview that Murray had great chances of reaching this final and the British player fulfilled the expectations, winning all his four matches in straight sets. On his semifinals clash against Pouille, Murray was just too solid for his opponent – ending the match with 21 winners / 9 unforced errors and not facing a single break point.

These two players will fight once again for a trophy after last week’s final in Madrid and earlier this year at the Australian Open. This will be their 33rd career encounter, with Djokovic leading on h2h by 23 – 9.

Despite Djokovic’s edge over Murray, this is a huge opportunity for Andy to achieve his 10th career triumph over the Serbian. Murray should be in much better conditions to play this final while Djokovic will only have around 18 hours to recover from that brutal match against Nishikori. With this in mind, our suggestion is for you to add Murray to your tennis picks as the best play for this final.

Serena Williams (1) vs Madison Keys (24)
As we picked in our WTA Rome Semifinals Analysis, Madison Keys proved to be a valuable investment with a 7 – 6 6 – 4 triumph against Garbine Muguruza. Keys has been incredibly solid throughout the week on her serve, placing 68.5% while her career average is 59.9%. Instead of going for a powerful serve, Madison is using much more often the kick serve which is extremely effective on clay. This is Keys’ third career final on the WTA Tour, with the American winning in Eastbourne 2014 and losing in Charleston 2015, both against Angelique Kerber.

We choose Serena Williams as our main favorite to grab the title and the world no.1 matched the expectations, not losing a single set so far on this event. Serena is still looking for her first title in 2016 and after losing the two previous finals she played, the American knows how important a trophy is before such an important competition like the French Open. Williams reach this final after defeating Irina-Camelia Begu by 6 – 4 6 – 1, in a game where Serena won 55.77% of the points played on Begu’s serve.

This will be the third career contest between the two Americans, with Serena leading on h2h by 2 – 0.

Both players are known for their powerful tennis which makes this a very interesting match. Despite Serena’s lead on h2h, Keys has weapons to bother her fellow countrywoman and this should be a closer contest than the odds suggest. Due to the tremendous quality of the two players serve, we believe that the best way to extract value from Madison’s tennis odds is by placing a bet on the Over, since one tie break might be required to solve one set.
