The WTA Australian Open Semifinals take place this Thursday and we've selected the two highest value tennis picks. Find out our Top Plays and the best bookmakers to place your bet.

Serena Williams (1) vs. Agnieszka Radwanska (4)
With a display of authority, Serena Williams achieved her 18th straight victory over Maria Sharapova. Once again, the American found her best tennis under pressure, serving at an outstanding level when it mattered. Williams ended the match with 13 aces, dropping her serve only one time against one of the best returners on tour. The most impressive was the way Serena raised the level at 4 – 4 on first set, saving two break points and cruising to a 6 – 4 6 – 1 victory.

This will be Agnieszka Radwanska’s second career appearance at the Australian Open semifinals, after losing on this stage in 2014 against Dominika Cibulkova. After being close from elimination against Anna-Lena Friedsam, Radwanska had an easier match against Carla Suarez Navarro, defeating the Spaniard by 6 – 1 6 – 3. However, is important to mention that Navarro was struggling with a knee injury, ending the match with 22 winners / 45 unforced errors.

These two players will face for the 9th time, with Serena winning all eight previous meetings.

This is a terrible match-up for Radwanska, the Polish struggles against powerful players and there isn’t much she can do against Serena. Agnieszka’s second serve is the weakest part of her game and Serena loves to attack those slower serves. The spread on this match is placed at -5.5 (-101) on Pinnacle, we consider a tricky line to bet, but the truth is that Serena covered this handicap in seven of their previous eight contests. With this in mind, we suggest to add Serena’s set handicap to your tennis picks, but if you want to go for a higher price the spread should be covered too.

Angelique Kerber (7) vs. Johanna Konta
With one of her best career performances, Angelique Kerber surprised Victoria Azarenka in the quarterfinals. The German was absolutely brilliant from the baseline, returning almost everything and firing some blistering forehands. Kerber recovered from 2 – 5 down on second set, saving 5 sets points and ending the match with 31 winners / 16 unforced errors.

Johanna Konta keeps making history, after her victory over Shuai Zhang on quarterfinals she became the first British woman in 39 years to reach the Australian Open semifinals. Konta’s serve has been her main weapon, with the world no. 47 winning 84.3% of her service games. Despite playing the biggest match of career, Konta handled the pressure extremely well in her quarterfinals clash against Zhang.

Kerber returns to a Grand Slam semifinal, after losing twice on this stage at the US Open in 2011 and Wimbledon in 2012. This will be the first career meeting between these two players and one thing is certain, we’ll have a new Grand Slam finalist. Kerber is the favorite for this match but it won’t be easy for her to overcome Konta. It should be an interesting match-up between Kerber’s defensive skills and Konta’s powerful serve and solid groundstrokes. Having said that, we advise to take advantage of the Over tennis odds in this match.
