ATP Match under investigation for suspicious betting patterns.

Coming on the heels of several sportsbooks suspending their markets on the Winston-Salem match between Alexander Dolgopolov and Thiago Monteiro, an investigation has been opened for suspicious betting activity.

Dogopolov was installed as the heavy favorite for Sunday's first-round match, but increases in money placed on Montiero reversed the lines to a point where bookmakers stopped taking action. Of course, the dog had his day and won comfortably, 6-3, 6-3

Once again, ATP tennis is under the microscope for match-fixing. Will this have a negative outcome on future odds markets? Probably not ... but it may deter some bettors from taking action on Tennis in the near future.
