After the US Open the WTA Tour returns with Tokyo tournament. We'll analyze the main contenders, betting odds and what players can go further to include them in our tennis picks.
The Japan Women’s Open Tennis will take place in Tokyo and will be played on Hard Court.
The 1st seed Carla Suarez Navarro will try to end her 7 games losing streak after a great run in first months of the year. The season started very well for Carla reaching three finals, but since Birmingham she hasn’t been able to win a single match losing all four she played in US Open Series.
Changing from USA to Asia can be a good boost to a new start and to get back to victories, the Spanish is the top ranked player on this event and knows that a good result is needed for her to regain confidence. Suarez Navarro will have a very tough first round against Kayerna Bondarenko and despite being the top ranked player on this event this is an extremely competitive tournament and due to her lack of wins lately there isn’t value on her outright at 7.00.
Madison Brengle started the year in great shape reaching Hobart final and 4th round in Australian Open, however has struggled in last months with poor results on clay and grass. The American raised her level in her return to Hard Court reaching 3rd round of US Open and she’s a very dangerous player on this surface.
Madison game suits better Hard Courts and her level increased in past weeks, she’s very dangerous with aggressive groundstrokes and a great return to serve. The main problem for Brengle is to keep a consistent game level but with confidence she’s a very dangerous player and for sure the recent results at US Open were a good boost for her. Brengle is currently at 13.00 for the title, she has a good draw and if she keeps playing good tennis she can go far so there is good value on this tennis odds.

Zarina is the 2nd seed on this event and despite not having an easy draw there is clear value on her. Zarina is at 23.00 at Bet365 to win the event which is extremely high and has great betting value worth adding to our tennis picks.
