Our upset alert takes us to Denver and two struggling teams right now. Both the Milwaukee Bucks and Denver Nuggets have been playing less than solid basketball recently. The NBA odds makers have opened up this game with the Bucks the favorite at -5 ½.

And you traded Knight because…?
I still don’t quite get this trade. In the three team deal between the Bucks, Suns, and Sixers he was the best player involved (yes better than Dragic, look at the stats and efficiency rating). Knight was really under the radar as far as we are concerned and this trade so far has not panned out for the Bucks, even though they're -5 favorites on the NBA Odds. Sure there is still time but for the record since the trade they are 2-4, two losses to two good teams in the Hawks and Bulls and two losses to the less than good Lakers and Jazz. They did beat the Sixers and this same Denver team, but Ty Lawson was out for that one. Before the trade they were 5-1 in February but because of their recent slide statistically they are playing much worse than they were in December and January shooting 45% from the field, 34% beyond the arc, and less assists on average per game.

Rocky (Mountain) 2, “Yo Adrian I did it!”
Since the beginning of 2015 the Bucks have had a few matchups with the same team and there is nothing to brag about. They beat the Knicks and Sixers twice, and lost to the Bulls and Jazz twice each. On February 4th they beat the Lakers at home, but without Knight they lost to the Lakers last Friday in L.A. The Nuggets will be sixth team they have played twice this calendar year, they won the first game 89-81 in Milwaukee just two weeks ago, but as mentioned earlier, Lawson was out. Also, Denver played arguably their worst game of the year shooting 36% from the field and 27% beyond the arc, heck they only shot 68% from the free throw line. This time around, with Lawson back, we see more of the same kind of set up they had with L.A. last week and we expect the Nuggets to play and shoot much better.

Here's an Early Look at the Top Contenders for the 2015 NBA Draft

If you’re desperate and you know it clap your hands
That clapping sound you just heard was from both the Bucks and Nuggets. Back to the Knight trade, Carter-Williams has gotten more notoriety but he has not been a proficient shooter in his NBA career (under 40%). Knight is the same age, has been much more proficient, and has higher shooting percentages from the field and beyond the arc… I just don’t get what the Bucks were thinking. Both teams are struggling right now and really could use a win. This game reminds me of the Wizards vs. Detroit a few days ago. Washington was playing as bad as they could and on a horrible losing streak. All indicators were bad but the news was that they were going to fight out of it and stick together. Although Denver is not nearly as good as Washington, the recent reports have shown the same kind of mindset and I'm adding them to my NBA Picks as I expect them to come out and play a very solid game at home and pull out the win.

Free NBA Pick: Denver plus money line at 5Dimes
