Lee Phelps from William Hill previews Sunday's El Clasico as part of his big three and also takes in Liverpool v Man United and Villarreal against Sevilla for his free betting soccer picks.

Barcelona vs. Real Madrid
Arguably the greatest derby in world soccer takes centre stage this Sunday night (European time) and, as ever, there is plenty riding on the result, even though pride would probably be enough.

Barca lead the La Liga table by one point have the title in their own hands, plus both are vying for Champions League glory and Messi and Co could still complete a treble, or at least a domestic double.

The Catalans club’s form is sensational too, with one defeat in 18, with 17 wins in that run, while Real Madrid have faltered slightly, with rumours of a ‘rift’ between Ronaldo and Gareth Bale and other issues behind the scenes. Whether that is true or not they are in a run of three defeats in their last eight games with one draw in the mix and they flirted with a shock exit from the Champions League losing 3-4 to Schalke at home (a team they hammered in last season’s competition).

There are a million bets you can have in El Clasico, but I have to pick one. I’m split between two odds-on shots. One is both teams to score, which has landed in the last 17 meetings, while both teams to score and over 2.5 goals will have paid out in 15 of those. That bet is 8/15.

My other option is over 50 booking points, but at the time of writing there are no prices available on La Liga odds board. So Sergio Ramos to be booked in the match is my second selection at 4/6. He has the most bookings of any Madrid player this season and has picked up 10 yellows in his last 14 matches, as well as three in his last six El Clasicos, including a red card.

Soccer pick: Sergio Ramos to be booked 1.75 (4/6) at William Hill

Villarreal vs. Sevilla
These two will be sick of the sight of each other by Sunday! That meeting will be their third in 10 days. Sevilla have lost just one of their last six league meetings with Villarreal, winning three and drawing two.

It’s a game that usually provides goals, with both netting at least once in five of the last six La Liga clashes, with last season’s 0-0 at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan the exception.

It’s well worth looking at Carlos Bacca to score, he has bagged 16 league goals this season; he netted 14 in his entire first campaign with Sevilla.

As for my Soccer pick, I’m going for another away win here, they have the advantage in the league and have only just beat them 3-1 away in the Europa League.

Soccer pick: Sevilla win and both teams to score 6.5 (11/2)

Liverpool vs. Manchester United
All of a sudden this derby of sorts has a lot riding on it, with a Champions League spot and even second place up for grabs now in the Premier League.

The Merseyside Reds trail their Mancunian rivals by two points so can leapfrog them with a win, while Louis van Gaal’s men can go second if results go their way.

Their win over Tottenham was the best performance of the season, but we have seen a few false dawns already this term, while Liverpool have been consistently playing well for months now. In fact if Liverpool avoid defeat in this game they will match the longest unbeaten run of the season seen in the Premier League.

The Red Devils have lost just one of their last nine league away matches (W4 D4 L1), while Brendan Rodgers’ side are unbeaten in their last 14 matches in all competitions at Anfield (W7 D7).

It’s worth keeping an eye on Premier League odds board, with only the Merseyside derby featuring more reds than this match (15), but I’m going to side with Liverpool and goals in this one because this is a bigger test for Man U than they have been facing recently.

Soccer pick: Liverpool win and both teams to score 4.6 (18/5) at Bet365
