Will it be business as usual for Bayern? They're heavy favorites for this weekend's match at Wolfsburg, but could face a tougher challenge than normal. Take a look at our top soccer picks for this match.

Odds Overview

Oddsmakers have listed the Bavarians at just above -300 in the soccer betting odds to win outright. Wolfsburg is a humungous underdog in the +800 to +1000 range, while a draw (+400 to +500) is also a longshot to come through. That's just how good Bayern has been.

Ahead of last Sunday's trip to Hoffenheim, the Wolves had won three straight matches in the league, including a fantastic 3-1 home victory over Bayer Leverkusen.

That good run of form came to a crashing halt though, as Wolfsburg was destroyed 6-2 in a match they'd soon like to forget.

Bas Dost and Ivan Perisic were the two goalscorers in the one-sided defeat. The Wolves had no answer defensively for the home side and were out-shot 17-6 overall and 12 to 4 in terms of shots on goal. A red card to Christian Trasch only compounded the issues.

Despite that setback, it's hard not to sing the praises of this Wolfsburg outfit. After finishing 11th last season, they've improved dramatically. Currently they're in the fifth spot in the Bundesliga table and they're only six points behind second place.

There's plenty of talent within this squad. Ivica Olic leads the team with eight league goals, while the likes of Kevin De Bruyne (recently signed from Chelsea) and Luis Gustavo have also been influential figures.

Bayern Munich

You can crown Bayern the Bundelsiga champions now. No one would hold it against you.

Amazingly enough, they've already built up a 20-point gap on second-place Dortmund, and we've only 23 matches into the campaign. The Bavarians have still yet to lose (21 wins, two draws) and have a goal differential of +56.

The latest show of dominance came last week in a 5-1 thrashing of Schalke inside Allianz Arena. Bayern had almost 75 percent of the possession and had 22 total shots on goal.

David Alaba started the scoring in the third minute, but it was Arjen Robben that was the hero of the day. He had a hat-trick in the win, finishing things off with a converted penalty in the 77th minute. Mario Mandzukic also got in on the goalscoring action with his 14th league goal of the season.

Looking at the Bundesliga table, the numbers speak for themselves. Yes, Bayern will be away from home on Saturday, but that hasn't slowed them down so far – they've logged nine wins and two draws in 11 away matches, scoring 29 time sand giving up just four goals. Truly remarkable.

Bundesliga Pick

We've got a tough decision on our hands here.

On one side you've got a Bayern team that's bulldozing their way through obstacle. They've yet to lose in the league and aren't going to want that to change this weekend. Even though they have their Champions League match against Arsenal to think about, they have enough depth to handle the demands of a busy week.

Then you've got a Wolfsburg side that's quietly been performing at a high level this season. They've got quality and confident players and have lost only twice at home this term.

What it simply comes down to is we see no point in going against Bayern in their current form. With our soccer picks, we're taking the Bavarians to win, though in no way do we believe it'll come easy for the league leaders.
