Yes, the Red Devils have been mighty disappointing this season, but they're still favored to win away to West Brom this weekend. Take a look at our handicappers top value soccer picks for this match.

Odds Overview

For those that are keeping faith in United, you can find them anywhere from -125 to -135 to win Saturday's match. The Baggies are listed at +400 or so on their home pitch, with a draw available at roughly +275 soccer odds.

West Brom

In a very precarious situation right now, the Baggies have to get a positive result this weekend.

Recent results have not been too encouraging (a 1-1 draw against Chelsea aside) and it leaves West Brom only one point clear of the relegation zone. It should also be noted that Sunderland has a match-in-hand, so the Baggies could easily find themselves drop into the bottom three sooner rather than later.

It's been quite a while since we last saw West Brom in action. They haven't played since February 22nd, a 1-1 draw at home versus Fulham. Matej Vydra saved the home team's blushes with a late goal to salvage a much-needed point.

Simply put, the Baggies are in a world of trouble. Where are the goals going to come from? They sold one of their best strikers in Shane Long and no West Brom player has scored more than four times in league play this season. It doesn't help that Nicolas Anelka was suspended for five matches.

At home this term, the Baggies have three wins, seven draws and four losses, while scoring 16 goals and allowing in 16. Let's see what kind of performance they come up with against the defending league champions.

Manchester United

One step forward, two steps back. The trend continues for the Red Devils, who are currently in seventh place in the league standings.

Days after a much better showing in a 2-0 away win over Crystal Palace, United was abysmal in a 2-0 loss to Olympiakos in the first leg of their Champions League tie. The Red Devils were outplayed from the get go and couldn't muster up a shot on goal until the closing stages. In all honesty, it was a spineless performance from a squad that wasn't accustomed to these types of letdowns before the 2013/14 campaign.

Though there's been little chemistry between them, at least Robin Van Persie and Wayne Rooney have been scoring goals on a consistent basis. RVP is currently leading the way with 11 league goals, but Rooney is right there with 10 of his own.

David Moyes will be hoping the two cause major problems for West Brom's defensive line this weekend.

And, in all actuality, United has practically been performing better away from home than they have at Old Trafford, a stunning fact few would have predicted before the season began. United's scored seven more goals away (25-18) and have recorded seven wins, three draws and four losses ahead of Saturday's trip.

Premier League Pick

The Baggies have pulled out some good results this season and will have had a ton of time to draw up some tactics for this visit of United, but we like the soccer betting value that comes attached to Moyes' men.

Don't get us wrong. The Red Devils have been truly disastrous this season, but the quality is still there, they haven't done too poorly away from home either, and West Brom hasn't been playing well either.

We are going to jump on the chance to back United at a short price for our soccer pick, and hope they'll at least live up to their potential on this day. Side with the Red Devils to head home with the three points.

Pick: West Brom 1 Manchester United 2
