The Toffees are flying high right now, but need a disciplined performance this weekend if they want to get points out of their trip to West Brom. Let's go over the soccer odds for this match to find our picks.

Odds Overview

Everton is the favorite despite being away from the comfortable confines of Goodison Park. They're trading at +120 soccer odds or so, leaving West Brom as a +235 underdog on their home pitch. A draw's at +240 at the sportsbooks for now.

West Brom

The Baggies are not in good form at the moment, having lost consecutive matches ahead of this Premier League showdown.

It all started with a dreadful effort in a 0-2 home loss to Crystal Palace in the FA Cup and was followed by another lackluster match in a 0-1 away defeat to Southampton in league action.

West Brom's ineffectiveness in front of goal has quickly become a major issue. They've scored a grand total of three goals over their last three matches across all competitions and have scored more than one goal just once over their previous seven fixtures.

Look at the statistics and you see a side that really needs a legitimate goalscorer. Saido Berahino has the most league goals with four and West Brom just went and sold their only other player (Shane Long) with at least three goals so far this season.

The Baggies' home form has been mixed. They have three wins, three draws and four losses overall with only 12 goals scored and 12 allowed. Pepe Mel's side will have to be very organized in order to keep that good defensive record intact against Everton.

Everton

After a 2-0 home win over Norwich City, it's now a four-match unbeaten run for the Toffees. They've notched victories over Southampton (2-1) and QPR (4-0), while holding Stoke City to a 1-1 draw away.

Against the Canaries, Gareth Barry's wonderful solo effort and an excellent free kick from Kevin Mirallas in the second half guided Everton to the win. The Toffees completely dominated the affair, racking up 23 total shots as opposed to Norwich City's 11.

We can now find Everton in fifth place in the Premier League standings, just one point behind Liverpool for that coveted fourth spot. With Tottenham breathing down their neck, the Toffees really need at least a point from Monday's match.

The onus to find the back of the net will fall primarily on the shoulders of Romelu Lukaku, but as we've found out, Everton has a number of different players who can score. That's why they felt just fine about letting Nikica Jelavic move on to Hull City.

Getting Lukaku on loan from Chelsea has been a stroke of genius for the Toffees. He leads the side with nine league goals and has chipped in with four assists as well.

Premier League Pick

West Brom has been disappointing recently, so we're not too comfortable backing them as our favorite soccer pick.

On the other hand, you've got an in-form Everton outfit that's been just as feisty away from home than they have at Goodison Park. The Toffees have lost just once in 10 matches outside of Merseyside, while allowing only 10 goals in total.

It's clear Roberto Martinez has made a very positive impact since arriving at Everton and we reckon he'll have his gang fully prepared for this trip. Back a win for the better team here, regardless of the venue.

Pick: West Brom 1 Everton 2
