On the fringe of the top four, Sunday's showdown between Tottenham and Everton is as crucial as ever. Which team do we think will come out on top? Let's take a look at the Soccer odds available for this match-up.

Odds Overview

Spurs are firmly favored but are still at plus money at anywhere from +105 to +115 soccer odds to win. The Toffees can be backed at a very appealing price of +275, while a draw appears a likely result in the eyes of oddsmakers as well at +250 or so.

Tottenham

Coming off an incredibly rough week, results wise, Tottenham needs a pick-me-up desperately this weekend.

Days after getting thumped 5-1 by Manchester City at home, Spurs were left frustrated in a 1-1 away draw at Hull City. Shane Long put the hosts up early in the first half, but Tottenham was able to respond with a fine effort from Paulinho.

With only one point out of a possible six in their last two fixtures, Spurs has fallen to sixth in the Premier League table, one point behind Everton and three back of third-place Liverpool.

Tottenham's home form has really hurt them this season. While they've won eight out of 12 matches outside of White Hart Lane, they've recorded five wins, three draws and four defeats at home heading into Sunday. In that span they've scored 14 goals and allowed 18.

That has to worry the casual Spurs fan, with a very well-coached and hungry Everton side coming to London. Will Tottenham be able to turn their home ground into a fortress once again?

Everton

After a tough 4-0 loss to Liverpool at Anfield, the Toffees re-gained some confidence with a 2-1 home win over Aston Villa last weekend.

Things weren't looking too good, with Everton down 1-0 for the first 73 minutes of play. But, Steven Naismith equalized and then Kevin Mirillas scored with a stunning free kick close to 10 minutes later. From there the Toffees held on for the win.

The victory leaves Roberto Martinez's men in fifth place and only one point behind Liverpool, who were only able to get a point at West Brom.

The Toffees have been pretty tough to break down even away from home this term, losing only twice in 12 fixtures. They have four wins and six draws mixed in there, so they know how to grind out a result when necessary.

With Romelu Lukaku out injured, we're likely to see new arrival Lacina Traore make his Everton debut this weekend. Seamus Coleman and Gerard Deulofeu, who were both dealing with hamstring issues, are also expected to return to the squad, giving Martinez quite a few different options to consider for his starting XI.

Premier League Pick

The value here is on Everton.

The Toffees may be without Lukaku, but they've still got other players that can step up and get on the score-sheet. Mirallas has been playing very well and the likes of Barkley, Coleman, Barry, Deulofeu and Baines can all get goals too. New signing Traore will also have his chance to shine.

That doesn't mean we're automatically picking an Everton win though.

White Hart Lane has been far from a safe haven for the Spurs this season, yet we do think the home team will put forth a better account of themselves on Sunday. So, with our soccer picks, we think this one could very easily end in a draw in what should be a very competitive 90 minutes of action.
