Before kick-off there are just six points between these two sides even though Tottenham are third in the league and Everton are sixth. It's certainly worth considering the odds on these sides finishing in a Champions League place this season, and the bookies have Tottenham at 4/6 and a top four finish and Everton at 8/1. It's worth considering though that Tottenham have just one victory out of their last three games and have won just five out of their last 10 while Everton by comparison are on a three-game winning streak, but looking further back have won just five games from their last 10.
Spurs are have got pretty good record they've scored 22 goals and conceded just 15 in their eight victories four draws and three defeats at White Hart Lane this term. Everton by comparison have fared less well away from home scoring 19 goals and conceding 18, the Toffees have only won four games but have drawn six and lost four away this season.
WHERE’S THE MONEY MIKE?
It's certainly not a bad idea to bet on this game ending drawn at 11/4 and if you are that way inclined I would suggest you bet on a score of 1-1 which is available at 7/1 for your soccer picks.
If you want to get really precise, I took a quick look into my crystal ball and it said that if the game is going to end drawn Everton will be leading at the end of the first half but Spurs will level the game before the final whistle. If you think my crystal ball is working and is suitably shiny you can pick up odds of 18/1 on Everton leading at the 45 but the game ending drawn on the 90.
If you think Tottenham will turn on the charm you can get betting odds of 15/8 on Spurs winning both halves outright.
Possibly more telling is the fact that the last four meetings between these two sides the home side has come out on top every single time, however looking at the last five head-to-head meetings between these two sides Everton have come out on top three times and Spurs have just come out of the once. I predict this game is going to be close as we haven't seen more than three goals scored in any one encounter between those these two sides in the last couple of years and there has only been one game that ended with a two goal winning margin and that was the last time this fixture was played in January 2012 and Spurs were 2-0 winners. That score is available at 9/1 although I am considerably more tempted to just plump for a repeat of the 2-1 that Everton won by in the reverse of this fixture back last December which is available at 12/1.
