It’s only fair to mention that Barcelona are 2/1 to win the Champions League while Munich are 11/4. What's more the German outfit are 6/5 to make the final while the Spanish giants are 8/13. If you want to gild the lily further you can bet on an all-German final at 19/4 or on all Spanish final at 14/9. Those soccer odds alone tell you who is more likely to make it through to the final between these two sides.
Enough with the final odds…WHERE’S THE MONEY MIKE?
Looking at the head-to-head matchups between these two sides in the last four games Barcelona have come out on top three times, twice at home and once away. The best result that Bayern Munich has managed against Barcelona was a 1-1 draw back in April 2009.
Two of the last four meetings between the sides have been friendlies and on both occasions Barcelona scored without conceding a goal. If you think something similar will happen on Tuesday night you should know that 1-0 to Barcelona is available at 9/1, 2-0 is available at 14/1 and even 3-0 is available at 33/1.
No clean sheets?
We all know Barcelona can score however in two of their last three games and only managed to find the back of the net once, although they could just mean they’re holding something back for the Champions League. Munich by comparison can't seem to stop scoring goals and they have scored six in each of the last two matches what's more looking at their last three matches gives you a massive 16 goals for tally therefore I think it's highly unlikely that Barcelona will keep a clean sheet against the Germans.
The basic odds have Barcelona winning the match at 12/5 Bayern Munich winning at 5/4 and a draw at 5/2. Looking a little deeper, a clean sweep across the halves for Barcelona can be added to your soccer picks at the price of 9/2 while Bayern doing the same is at 5/2 and the game being drawn on the 45 and 90 is 19/4.
I just have a feeling though that this game is going to see the home side going in with the advantage at the break the game and drawn which is available at 16/1.
Personally I think that this game will be close and Barcelona will be content with a draw provided they get one to all-important away goals. I doubt very much we'll see the same scoreline from the Champions League meeting played at Barcelona in 2009 when the Spaniards scored four without reply, if you fancy a repeat of that score it's available at 125/1. Also the last time this game was played between the two sides in Germany this game ended 1-1 which is available this time round 7/1 (the shortest odds with some bookies) but I don't think we'll see that as they will be more than two goals in this game.
Prediction: The game ends drawn 22 available at 14/1 with Coral.
