Neither team has been taking the bull by the horns as of late, but it's the Swans that are clearly favored by soccer odds-makers for Sunday's clash at Liberty Stadium.

Two middle-of-the-road clubs in Swansea City and Stoke City will square off with three points on the line. Who gets the nod with our soccer picks?

Odds Overview

Just what do the lines look like? Swansea is in the -100 to -110 range, while Stoke can be added to your soccer picks at a price of +350.

Swansea City

Michael Laudrup has to be pretty frustrated with life as Swansea City manager right now.

His team has failed to win any of its last four fixtures, which includes successive 1-1 draws against Kuban Krasnodar in the Europa League. The Swans also lost the Wales derby 1-0 to Cardiff City and had to settle for a 0-0 draw at home to West Ham.

Even more frustrating, Swansea City was leading Kuban for practically the entire match, only to cough up the lead in stoppage time. Wilfried Bony had put the Swans up after only nine minutes, but Laudrup's men just couldn't see the entire match through.

Domestically, Swansea City has failed to match their results from last year, at least so far. The Swans finished ninth in the Premier League in 2012/13, but right now find themselves ranked in the 13th spot.

The home record hasn't been inspiring either. In five matches at Liberty Stadium the Swans have only one won, while drawing twice and losing two times as well. Their only win came over Sunderland, who are second-to-last in the standings.

Stoke City

If you're a Potters fan, you've been through quite a roller-coaster of a time over the last couple of weeks.

Stoke gave Manchester United everything they could handle two weekends ago, only to lose 3-2 at Old Trafford. Then, three days later, they battled Birmingham in a thrilling Capital One Cup clash, which the Potters won on penalties after a 4-4 draw.

Last weekend, the Potters drew a very talented Southampton team 1-1 at home. Goalkeeper Asmir Begovic scored after just 13 seconds, with his clearance getting picked up a tailwind and sailing over Artur Boruc for the goal. It was stunning.

However, Stoke couldn't stop Jay Rodriguez from equalizing and then failed to find the winner throughout the second half. Three points would have been nice, with the Potters currently just one point ahead of the relegation zone.

But it wasn't to be. Now Stoke heads back on the road, where they've won just one time in five matches while scoring only four goals. A lack of goals has been a problem all season long, with no Potter having more than one goal to their name through 10 fixtures.

Premier League Pick

The Swans need a positive result to rally behind and build up some momentum. We foresee it coming on Sunday.

Stoke is a physical team that can frustrate opponents with their tough, disciplined style in the back, but ultimately Swansea City will have the fan support behind them and they'll be desperate to get back to that winning feeling.

This corresponding fixture from last year ended in a 3-1 win for the Swans, with Jonathan De Guzman netting a brace and Ben Davies also getting in on the action. At such short betting odds, we'll be siding with Laudrup's team to hold serve at home again this weekend.

Pick: Swansea City 1 Stoke City 0
