SBR analysts has a lot to say about the soccer betting lines on the West Brom vs. Tottenham game going down on Saturday. Join us & find out where you should lay your soccer picks on Match Day 15.

Tottenham will come into this game full of confidence after embarking on a 13-game unbeaten run that has catapulted them up to fifth in the table. The -105 soccer odds on offer for a Spurs win at Sky Bet is a good price for a team that is packed with gifting youngsters that are clicking nicely. But West Brom have become an incredibly tough nut to crack of late. Tony Pulis has them exceptionally well drilled. They are hard to break down, disciplined and tough, with a midfield marshalled by the never-say-die Darren Fletcher and Jonas Olsson in great form at the back. Chances are the two sides will cancel each other out and play out a draw.

Bet365 and various others are offering +250 on the draw in this game and that looks a great bet. Tottenham haven’t lost since the opening day of the season – when a cruel own goal saw them taste defeat at the hands of Man Utd – but of those 13 games, seven have been draws. Part of the reason they have become so hard to beat is that they have abandoned the gung-ho attacking style cultivated by Harry Redknapp and adopted by Tim Sherwood in favor of the more pragmatic style eschewed by new manager Mauricio Pochettino. Players that were full of flair but lacked defensive discipline, such as Aaron Lennon, Lewis Holtby and Andros Townsend, have made way for combative, all-action young terriers like Eric Dier and Dele Alli. They press like men possessed and give their opponents very little time on the ball, but they do not exactly play expansive, free-flowing, easy-on-the-eye football. It is effective but it will often result in draws rather than wins, particularly away from home.

West Brom started the season poorly but have found their feet recently, following up a famous win over Arsenal with a well-earned draw away at West Ham. Despite their excellent recent form, it is hard to see Spurs coming away with three points from The Hawthorns, meaning a draw is a likely result.

Bet Victor has +700 for a 1-1 draw, which is a good price. West Brom have only kept two clean sheets since August, so you would fancy Tottenham to score. Spurs’ Harry Kane has been in great form of late and he could well break the deadlock, but West Brom have also found their shooting boots and Saido Berahino could get them the vital goal they need. Berahino almost went to Tottenham in a big-money transfer in the summer, but West Brom just about managed to hold onto him, and he will be keen to show the North Londoners what they are missing. You can get +500 with Coral on Kane to score first, which is a great price for a man who has scored a remarkable nine goals in his last seven games. After a slow start to the season, he has recaptured the magic that made him the hottest property in the Premiership last term and is looking exceptionally confident. You can get +162.5 at Bet Victor on him to score any time, which is a great bet. Berahino is +900 to score first, and that is another interesting bet, as is the +350 available on him to score at any time. He has a great eye for goal and will cause Tottenham’s defence problems. For an outside soccer pick, look at Alli of Tottenham, who recently scored on his England debut and carries an attractive price at +1000, again with Coral.

It is likely to be a low-scoring game the -137.5 Betfred has on under 2.5 goals looks good, or for the more cautious punter, Paddy Power has -350 on under 3.5 goals
