Both LA and Kansas City are coming off wins during the week, making Saturday evening's match all the more intriguing. The soccer betting odds are favoring the Wizards on their home pitch, but will Robbie Keane and company have their say?

Odds Overview
Opening odds see SKC as a +110 favorite, a position they've gotten used to when playing on their own pitch, where they've lost only one time this season.

That means you can back the Galaxy at a very nice price of +250, with a draw available at right around +225. Keep tracking the live lines for yourself at

Sporting Kansas City
They sure left it late, but a win's a win and the Wizards will be thrilled to have escaped Columbus with all three points.

A goal from Benny Feilhaber in stoppage time gave Kansas City the 2-1 victory over the Crew. CJ Sapong was the other goalscorer for the victors, who survived a red card to Aurelien Collin in the 55th minute to get the win.

The victory helped Sporting leap-frog DC United (who didn't play during the week) for first place in the Eastern Conference.

What's more, the Wizards now get to return home, where they've been incredibly difficult to beat throughout the season. They've logged three wins, five draws and just one loss in nine matches so far, scoring 13 times with only seven goals against.

That conference-best defense, led by Matt Besler, will have to hold strong again up against the in-form Robbie Keane and Gyasi Zardes, who have combined for 15 league goals heading into the weekend.

LA Galaxy
In one of the more eventual MLS games of the season so far, the Galaxy emerged as 5-1 winners over a solid New England side on Wednesday.

Though Dan Gargan picked up a red card in the first half, LA had already built up a two-goal advantage. The Revolution's AJ Soares was also shown a red and from there Bruce Arena's team continued to show their proficiency in front of goal.

At the final whistle, both Keane and Zardes had scored two goals, with Stefan Ishizaki also getting in on the goalscoring action. It was as dominant of an offensive display as we've seen out of the Galaxy in quite some time.

With the victory, LA moved up all the way to third place in the Western Conference. There's still a huge gap between them and the league-leading Sounders (11 points), but the Galaxy have put themselves in a great position, especially with two matches in hand on a majority of the other competing teams.

Playing away from home has proved tricky for LA though. While they've only lost one time at home, they've recorded two wins, four draws and two losses in eight matches on the road, with nine goals for and seven goals against.

MLS Pick
This is a tough one to predict.

On one side you've got Kansas City, the Eastern Conference leaders who have protected their home field with gusto throughout the season.

Then there's the Galaxy, who are rounding into form at just the right time. They've done well defensively when playing away from home and will hope they can stymy Dwyer and company this weekend.

When making our soccer picks, we believe the best value lies with the draw, as we don't see much of an edge on either side. Both teams are playing well at the moment, so look for a closely-contested encounter at Sporting Park.
