Feeling good after a great result in the first leg of the Copa del Rey, Barcelona will try to keep it going when they take on Sevilla way from home. Let's take a look at the soccer odds to find our picks for this match-up.

Odds Overview

In La Liga play, we're used to seeing the Catalans at a ridiculously high number in terms of the soccer betting odds. It's refreshing to see somewhat of a change this weekend, as Barcelona is right around -200 to get the three points.

Sevilla is given a small chance of victory, as evident by the +550 to +600 price-tag, while a draw can be found at +350 at most sportsbooks.

The Sevillistas are not enjoying their finest stretch right now. They've gone without a win in four consecutive La Liga matches

This cold run of form has Sevilla five points out of the top six, meaning they really need to start getting points wherever possible to make up the difference.

The last time the Sevillistas were in action, they fell in a hard-fought 2-3 away loss at Malaga. Carlos Bacca and Federico Fazio scored the goals for Sevilla, but the defensive discipline just wasn't there.

How will Unai Emery's men perform back on their home pitch? They have five wins, two draws and three defeats inside their own stadium, but they've yet to really record a statement victory over elite competition heading into Sunday.

It's going to be a tall task again versus Barcelona, but the Sevillistas do have the quality within their squad to pull it off. Bacca and Ivan Rakitic have been excellent, each scoring 10 league goals so far to go along with a combined 12 assists. Kevin Gameiro has also done well when given the chance.

A rare defeat at home (to Valencia) didn't slow down Barcelona during the week. They got the job done in the first leg of the cup competition, beating Real Sociedad 2-0 at home.

Sergio Busquets scored in the first half and then a fluke own goal after the interval was all the Catalans needed. They'll head into the second leg with a clear-cut advantage to make the Copa del Rey final.

All of a sudden though, the attention shifts back to La Liga, where Barcelona just coughed up their lead atop the standings. They're tied on points with Real Madrid, with both giants currently three points behind league-leaders Atletico Madrid.

The Catalans needed a last-gasp winner from Alexis Sanchez to beat Sevilla (3-2) at the Camp Nou in September. Are they going to be in for another fight for their lives in the rematch?

Perhaps. Barcelona has lost just one time away from home though, while posting a splendid goal differential of +16 in 11 league matches. More importantly, motivation will be at an all-time high after getting knocked off their perch.

La Liga Pick

By no means do we foresee this being a walk in the park for Barcelona, but it's going to be tough to go against them with our soccer picks in this situation.

Thing is, Sevilla has been struggling here lately and they've been giving up a lot of goals all season long. That's definitely not a good recipe with the Catalans, ready to get back on track in La Liga, coming to town.

Barcelona obviously can't afford to drop many more points after that loss to Valencia and we fully expect them to recover some pride and get back to their winning ways on Sunday. Take Barcelona to win.

Pick: Sevilla 1 Barcelona 3
