Chelsea takes their home advantage away with them after beating Rubin Kazan 3-1 in the Europa League and I expect the London Blues to win him money as they progress to the next round.

Chelsea did very very well beating Rubin 3-1 in their home like and most probably done enough to qualify for the next round. The bookies have the Blues progressing at 1/7 while a shock upset of Rubin progressing is at 5/1. Rubin have to win this game as a draw won't be anywhere near enough for them.

You should know that a Chelsea victory in this match is available 7/4 while a home win is at 8/5 and a draw, which would suit Chelsea is 12/5 Soccer Betting Odds.

Enough with the obvious…WHERE’S THE MONEY MIKE?

It's worth remembering that that man Rafa has won the Europa league trophy previously and will know exactly what his London side need to do.

The Russians have been very much running hot and cold in their last five matches with two wins two draws and one loss but more interestingly to know is that Rubin have only conceded goals in one of their last five matches however that was from Chelsea and have hardly been prolific upfront scoring just five goals in their last five games so I don't think this match will be particularly high scoring. Chelsea are looking at three straight victories and have won four out of their last five matches however ,excluding their home 3-1 victory over Rubin they've hardly been ridiculously prolific beating Sunderland and Manchester United by just a goal in their last two British matches.

Chelsea will surly fancy their chances as all five of their previous games against Russian opposition have seen a few blues come out on top and they have only conceded two goals in those five games.

Interesting to note that the Champions League holders Chelsea could well become the first side to win UEFA's two top club competitions in reverse order in successive seasons record that might undermine their celebrations around Stamford Bridge.

Shortest correct score odds are on a 1-1 draw at 5/1, while the shortest odds on a Chelsea win are for 1-0  at 7/1 (the same for a Rubin 1-0). You might also like throwing money around betting on a Rubin win at 2-1 at 9/1 which would still see Chelsea through. If you dislike Chelsea, and plenty of people do, you might like to bet on the home side winning 3-0 which is available at 33/1 as that would be a double blow as it would jettison Chelsea from the competition.

As a final thought it's worth noting that Chelsea are 7/4 (favourites) to win the Europa  League and Rubin are 40/1 that probably tells you who will progress from this bunch, as I think Chelsea don't need to win this game they won't. Your Humble Handicapper is backing a draw.
