After a storming display in last weekend's Premier League picks your Humble Handicapper is expecting even more from the next round of matches.

The fact that there are just six Premier League games next weekend because of the FA Cup means that there are only six different opportunities to win lots of money online.

Saturday's first match sees Norwich host Southampton; two sides reeling from recent defeats. Norwich will feel aggrieved that they went down 4-0 away at Old Trafford while Southampton will be ruing the fact that they were defeated by bottom of the table Queens Park Rangers. The bookies seem to think Norwich will take this match at 5/4 and the shortest correct score odds are on 1-0 at 6/1. I think the sportsbooks have got this one right. Norwich are a decent side despite the 4-0 scoreline from the last match, and they were very much in that game until the 76th minute.

Norwich win 2-0 available at 14/1 with Bet Victor.

There is a real relegation six pointer when the aforementioned Queens Park Rangers host Sunderland. The Black Cats may be four places above the dreaded dotted line, but they are now within six points touching distance of 18th place Aston Villa and the fact that they have won just three of their last 10 games will make Harry's boys think that they could get back-to-back wins for the first time all season, something available at 5/4. I think that might be a bridge too far but I'm happy to back a draw available at 9/4.

QPR 1 - Sunderland 1 available at 5/1 with bet365.

This one is a real relegation six pointer when Reading host Aston Villa.

There is just one point between the two sides in 18th and 19th place in the table although Aston Villa have a goal difference that is seven goals worse off. The Villains really need to win and win well in this game if they are to stand any chance of staying up. You should know the Aston Villa are 8/11 to be relegated while Reading are 1/4.

Personally I don't think the three teams in the drop zone will be three teams that go down, but I certainly think that for whoever loses this game, it would be good night Seattle.

I think Reading, despite their recent run of form have some momentum and I think Aston Villa have negative momentum and are in danger of black-holing on themselves. I'm adding a Reading victory to my soccer picks, which is available at 5/4.

Prediction: Redding win 2-1 available at 9/1 with Stan James.

Its coin toss time when West Brom host Swansea. These two are both on 40 points each but Swansea are four goals better off, therefore it's such an obvious thing to say (but needs to be said anyway) this is a six pointer. I doubt either side will trouble the top five and neither side will be relegated maybe a draw, available at 9/4 is the best sports betting option, but if you must pick a winner toss a coin for it.

Coin toss; West Brom win 2-0 available at 12/1 with Coral.

Sunday sees Newcastle take on Stoke. The two sides both suffered defeats last weekend but I think that Newcastle played better in their defeat against Swansea then Stoke did in their game against West Ham and I think that, coupled with the fact that the Geordies are playing at home means we will see a very tidy home victory available at 10/11. Newcastle win 3-1 available at a big fat 18/1 with Stan James.

The final game of the weekend is Liverpool versus Tottenham and while Liverpool had a hefty victory last weekend it will be Tottenham who are the more enthusiastic side after their win over Arsenal in the latest London derby. However, I do feel that Liverpool with home advantage and the fact that Tottenham are getting a little too big for their boots will see another home victory available at 10/11. Tottenham winning is available at 16/5 and a draw which I think is highly likely is available at 13/5. Tottenham may well be third in the table but I don't think they are a top three side and Liverpool are the sort of club to remind them of that.

Prediction Liverpool win 3-2 available at 25/1 with Bet Fred.
