Odds Overview
We've got tight lines for this one, with the hosts at +115 or so and this visiting Augsburg outfit right around +250 on the soccer odds to win. A draw can be locked in at anywhere from +225 to +250.

The Wolves have been one of the streakier sides in the Bundesliga lately. They had won three straight, beating Mainz, Hertha Berlin and Bayer Leverkusen, but since they've gotten demolished by both Hoffenheim and Bayern Munich before drawing Eintracht Braunschweig 1-1.

Wolfsburg controlled possession in the draw, and it was no surprise who got their name on the score-sheet. Luis Gustavo found the back of the net in the first half for the visitors.

Having only recorded one point out of a possible nine over their last three league fixtures, the Wolves have seen their standing in the table come under serious fire.

As of now they're in in the sixth spot, which would see them qualify for the Europa League should the season end today. However, only four points separate sixth through ninth at the moment, so Wolfsburg's position is in serious jeopardy, especially when taking their recent form into consideration.

Wolves fans will take solace in knowing they've done well at Volkswagen Arena throughout the campaign, logging an 8-1-3 record with 25 goals for and 16 goals against.

It was a hard result to stomach, given the fact Augsburg had 21 total shots and held 55 percent of the possession. They put the pressure on Schalke but couldn't make the most of their chances.

With nothing to show for their hard work, Augsburg must move on to this weekend's action knowing they have to improve on their eighth-place ranking in the Bundesliga table. They're only two points back of sixth and four points behind a top four spot, so there's still hope.

A result this weekend, therefore, could go a long way, with Markus Weinzierl's team trying to improve their 5-3-5 record away from home.

The three most influential players for Augsburg, at least in attack, have been Werner, Andre Hahn and Halil Altintop. Hahn has a team-best 10 goals to go with five assists in league play, but Werner (seven goals, six assists) and Altintop has found the back of the net eight times in the Bundesliga. Who will have the biggest impact on Saturday?

Bundesliga Pick
Wolfsburg's hit a rough patch, no one's denying that, but their home form suggests they have a real shot at bouncing back with a victory.

The quality of the likes of Luis Gustavo, Kevin De Bruyne, Bas Dost and Ivica Olic (if he makes the starting XI) is legitimate as well, another reason we look for the home team to get the three points.

We do expect Augsburg to put up a fight – they rarely get completely outclassed – but at the end of the day we like the price on a Wolfsburg win (+115) and will put our confidence in them to stamp out a result and end this bad run of form.
