Will Levante be able to build off their impressive display against Barcelona? They'll enter as significant underdogs on the soccer odds for this weekend's date with Sevilla.

Odds Overview

Playing at home always brings with it a big-time edge, and that's reflected in the soccer odds for Saturday's match.

The Sevillistas are favored in the -275 to -300 range, with the Frogs available for backing at as high as a number as +1100. A draw can be added to your free soccer picks at anywhere from +350 to +400.

The Sevillistas have been on quite a roll over the past nine weeks or so. They're unbeaten over their last eight La Liga matches, having won five and drawn three.

Included in there are excellent wins over Espanyol (3-1) and Villarreal (2-1) and good showings in draws with Atletico Madrid (1-1) and Athletico Bilbao (1-1).

The deadlock with Atletico came at the Vicente Calderon to make it even more impressive. Sevilla went down early in the first half, but kept their composure and were rewarded with a penalty in the 73th minute, which Ivan Rakitic converted.

Rakitic has quickly become one of Sevilla's biggest threats. He has nine goals and six assists in league play so far, both of which are team-highs. Carlos Bacca (nine goals and five assists) has been equally as dangerous in attack.

Those two will be counted on to make life difficult on Levante at home this weekend. The Sevillistas have recorded five wins, two draws and two losses in nine matches at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium and haven't lost there since November 2nd.

Clawing their way up the La Liga standings, the Frogs can be located in the eleventh spot right now. They're on 24 points, even with Valencia, Grenada and Getafe.

Following consecutive setbacks to Atletico Madrid and Valencia, Levante has bounced back to beat Malaga (1-0) and tie Barcelona (1-1).

Whenever you get a point from the Catalans, you have to be incredibly satisfied, especially if you're not one of the giants like Atletico or Real Madrid. Levante went up early through a Loukas Vyntra goal, and even though Barcelona evened things up soon after, they defended admirably and did enough to get a hugely important draw.

It was just the result Levante needed in a season that's had its fair share of ups-and-downs already.

Joaquin Caparros will be hoping his team can build off such a promising result.

The Frogs' away form, though, has been poor at best. They have three wins, two draws and five defeats, but have scored just nine goals in total heading into Saturday's clash, not the kind of record that inspires confidence against a surging squad in Sevilla.

La Liga Pick

You may be wondering why Levante is such a hefty underdog despite playing exceptionally well against Barcelona this past weekend. If they can hold the Catalans, surely they can do so again versus the Sevillistas, right?

Well, we've mentioned how strong Sevilla has looked lately and we expect them to keep that momentum going with another good result against the Frogs.

With Rakitic and Bacca at the heart of it all, look for an in-form Sevilla outfit to take care of Levante, pushing their undefeated La Liga streak to nine matches. The hosts get the nod with our free soccer picks.
