Before we get into the nitty-gritty of this match, and because it looks like a little bit of a foregone conclusion as to who will come out on top, it's worth looking at some of the longer term soccer betting options relating to these two sides.
Norwich will take heart that some bookmakers now have them at 1/50 to stay up and the fact that they are 4/1 on a top-10 finish.
However by comparison Manchester United are as much as 1/50 to win the Premier League and second place, noisy neighbours Manchester City are 18/1 to retain the title.

Enough with the title odds…WHERE’S THE MONEY MIKE?
A quick look at the table tells you everything you need to know about this match and who to back for the winner. With the outcome obvious, where can we find some actual value for our soccer picks?
Manchester United have dropped points just once at home this season, scoring 34 goals and conceding just 15. That would suggest a Manchester United win, which is available at most online sportsbooks at 2/7 and a 2-1 scoreline which is available at 9/1.
Flipping things around a little bit Norwich are 11 places and 36 points behind the champions elect. What’s more on their travels they have only won one game, drawn six and lost six. They’ve scored 11 goals in the road but conceded 26, something else that would suggest backing the aforementioned 2-1 scoreline to United.
The Red Devils have lost only TWO of their last 14 league meetings with the Canaries and the visitors have been far from prolific at Old Trafford, as they have hit the back of the net just 13 times when playing the Red Devils in a league game away from home.
It's all well and good Norwich crowing over the fact that they beat Manchester United in their last meeting, but I really can't see history repeating itself like that.
Hosting Manchester United early in the season is a completely different beast to travelling to Old Trafford when United have the scent of another title in their nostrils.
United have won four of their last five and the only blot in that run is their 1-1 draw away to Real Madrid in the Champions League. By comparison Norwich have only won once in their last five games, and that was the somewhat fortuitous victory over Everton last weekend.
Norwich did go on a run of three draws before the victory over Everton and I think a draw is the very best that they can hope for in their clash against Manchester United, that is offered up at 4/1 and if you must add a bet on a draw to your sports picks, bet 1-1 at 11/1.
Part of me wants to bet on a heavy home win, but Manchester United haven't scored more than two goals in a single match in their last five.
I doubt Norwich will find the back of the net as they had only scored three from their last five therefore…
