Spain’s top flight is chock-full of money winning matches and if you follow your Humble Handicapper’s tips that money can be yours.

It’s necessary, but a little redundant to mention the betting odds on the LaLiga winner this term.

It’s no surprise that Barcelona are ¾ to win the league, second place Charlie’s Real Madrid are 11/8. Then there is a massive rocket up in odds where Atlético Madrid are 100/1, and they’re the third favourite.

Enough with the league winner…WHERE’S THE MONEY MIKE?

Saturday the 17th sees Real Sociedad take on Getafe and the smart money is on the home side doing the business. Real winning is at 8/11 while a draw is 14/5 and an away win is at 9/2.

Safe as Houses

The safest bet in Spain is on Sunday when it’s Barcelona beating Levante. However it’s a stupid 1/11 so it’ll hardly make you rich. Mrs Richardson has insisted that I stick a couple of quid on the long shot that is a Levante victory as it’s 33/1 but what does she know?

Slightly Less Safe

Real Madrid are also highly fancied to start the season with a win, they’re 1/5 to beat Betis on Sunday afternoon, while a draw is at 15/2 and a Betis victory is at 18/1.

My Liga betting tea leafs tell me that Almeria V Villarreal is going to be my money spinner. It’s 2/1 on a Villarreal win, 8/5 for Almeria to take it and 23/10 on a draw. The leafs tell me that Almeria are gonna win

They’re gonna take both halves and it’s gonna end up being 1-0 But it all together and you’ll have 7/5 and 14/5 and 13/2, bet happy.

Some Say Too Close to Call, Not Me!

One of the tighter games is Osasuna V Granada. The bookies have it at Evens for Osasuna, 12/5 for a draw and 5/2 for Granada. I'm throwing my wife’s wages behind a draw, specifically a 0-0 at 8/1. And if it’s going to be 0-0, which it is gild  the lily a little more with a bet on the game being v=drawn at the 45 and the 90 at 4/1.

Monday’s games sees me backing Rayo Vallecano over Elche at 5/4, and an away win for Espanyol at 5/2 over Celta Vigo.

First Things First

I'm going to add Athletic Bilbao beating Valladolid (away) to my soccer picks at 15/8, just to give me some serious stake money for Sunday’s matches.
