The Premier League may have had one of the most exciting weekends in living memory, but there's still plenty of cash to be made scooping up easy money on the continent… IF you follow your Humble Handicapper’s tips.

So, why not make plenty cash when Inter Milan host Fiorentina?

Ever since Mrs. Richardson saved a considerable amount of money by doing some of her clothes shopping in Italy, she's had a real affinity for all things Italian. She is plenty excited about this game as she expects her ever-loving husband to be able to buy her some shiny new heels come the final whistle. Can our soccer picks make that happen?

Enough with your wife's heels… WHERE’S THE MONEY, MIKE?

At the time of this writing, after three games have been played, Inter Milan are sitting third in the Italian top-flight. They have seven points and a goal difference of +5 in the soccer betting odds. The good news is that puts them just two points and two goals off top-of-the-table Napoli. But before anybody gets too excited by that, they should remind themselves that Inter Milan are one of four sides on seven points; and if you move to apply your Humble Handicapper’s Rule of Six, which implies you shouldn't think anything is a done deal without factoring in a six-point swing, they could find themselves third bottom.

Simple is as Simple Does

The bookies have Inter at 11/10 sports betting favourites to win this match, while a draw’s at 12/5 and Fiorentina winning is 13/5.

The last time the sides met it was all about Fiorentina as they ran away with the game and were 4-0 up after just 65 min. The game ended 4-1 (like the latest Manchester Derby) as Milan got a late consolation goal, but I don't expect a repeat of that sort of match.

Back then, these sides were almost neck and neck as they were fifth and sixth in the table, so your Humble Handicapper is expecting a close game.

But We Will See a Winner…

That defeat was a big deal as Inter had had up an unbeaten record against their hosts that stretches back 15 games.

Looking at more recent history, Inter can boast three wins from their last five meetings with Fiorentina.

Not Many Goals

With the exception of the last encounter, you don't usually get many goals. We've seen a 2-1, two 1-0's and a 3-1 back in May, plus the aforementioned no score draw.

Soccer Pick: Inter will come out on top, 2-0 available at 10/1 with William Hill
