It may all be over in the EPL, with Manchester City and your Humble Handicapper celebrating, while Liverpool FC, and the bookies are left crying into their warm beer, but there has never been a better time to get early bets in on the EPL futures for the 2014-15 soccer season.

The 2013-14 EPL season may have ended with more of a whimper than a bang, but you can’t fault the top soccer tips that your Humble Handicapper has supplied you with over the season. There’s money in Mrs Richardson’s shoe fund, and there's even some left over for your Humble Handicapper to invest early in the 2014-15 season futures.

Enough with your own brilliance….WHERE’S THE MONEY MIKE?
Last season we saw plenty of opportunities to win big money, and plenty of surprises from the off. Not only did we have the almost-ran of Liverpool’s title push, but we also had Sunderland’s great escape, and Man Utd’s post Fergie implosion.

If you had bet on Liverpool finishing in the top two, and Man Utd finishing outside the top four, you could have returned a tidy profit (as your Humble Handicapper did). If you want to do as well this time next year, read on, and take heed from your Humble Handicapper’s top soccer tips.

The most obvious pick is next season’s winner.

Man City are the shortest odds at 15/8, followed by Chelsea at 5/2. Liverpool are the bookies third favourites at 11/2, but your Humble Handicapper fears that they had their chance this season, and won’t be lucky two season’s in a row.

Man Utd are 6/1 to win the next EPL and then Arsenal are 12/1. Considering that the Gunners did reasonably well but came unstuck with their injuries I'd suggest that they are the dark horse you should back this time round, especially at those odds.

Everton were one of the big surprises this season and they nearly pushed Arsenal out of their “constant” top four spot. However the bookies don’t see them improving on their finish next term as they are 1/6 Not to finish top four, while Arsenal are 8/13. I also predict that Liverpool will struggle next season so you should throw some cash down on them not finishing in the top four at 7/4.

Another one of my pet teams, Southampton, did better than expected, and managed a 8th place finish. Your Humble Handicapper sees more good news for Saints fans, and is even willing to have a sympathy bet on them making a tip-top four finish at 33/1, but will have a more serious bet on a top ten finish for the Saints at 4/6.

Free Soccer Picks: I can’t see City winning back-to-back trophies (remember what happened after they won the EPL last time?) so your Humble Handicapper is going out on a limb, and backing Chelsea to win the EPL 2014-15 season.
