It's never dull when these two English giants do battle. Will it be Chelsea or Manchester City that takes the spoils this weekend Soccer Pick?

Odds Overview

The Blues are favored, but not by much. Soccer Odds are at +130 at a few sportsbooks, with +145 also available here and there.

You can lock down the visiting Citizens at +215 or so, while the draw's at +240.

Since a disappointing 2-1 home loss to FC Basel in the Champions League things have been going very well for Jose Mourinho's Blues.

In the seven fixtures since Chelsea has won six times and drawn once. They smashed Steaua Bucuresti (4-0) and Schalke 04 (3-0) away in the Champions League and beat Fulham, Norwich City, and Cardiff City in the Premier League.

The win over the German side was quite impressive. Schalke has very talented players like Kevin-Prince Boateng within their squad, and they typically have a great home-field advantage.

However, the Blues came in and made Schalke look extremely ordinary. Fernando Torres had one of his best showings in a Chelsea uniform, netting a brace, while Eden Hazard added the third late to put the match out of reach.

Having won four straight matches, while scoring 14 goals and allowing only two, the Blues are in their best form of the season heading into Sunday's showdown in London.

Manchester City

Successive 3-1 Premier League wins gave Manchester City the confidence they needed to go into Moscow and take care of business in European play.

The Citizens took care of Everton 3-1 at the Etihad and then beat West Ham 3-1 in London. They've moved up into the fourth spot in the Premier League standings, with Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool taking up the first, second, and third positions.

During the week, City won 2-1 over CSKA Moscow in a much-needed group-stage win. The Citizens had 20 shots, nine of which were on goal, and controlled possession to the tune of 59 percent.

Sergio Aguero was the man of the match, scoring both goals after Moscow had gone ahead on a Zoran Tosic goal in the 32nd minute. Aguero has scored six goals (with two assists) in six Premier League matches and has one goal and one assist in two Champions League appearances.

This City outfit seems to be finding their stride, especially now that David Silva is fully fit and playing again. Throw in Jesus Navas, Yaya Toure, Samir Nasri, Alvaro Negredo, Edin Dzeko, Stevan Jovetic, just to name a few, and you've got yourself one amazingly talented attacking corps.

Premier League Pick

City won the battle in domestic meetings last season, winning 2-0 at home and then holding Chelsea to a 0-0 draw at Stamford Bridge.

Both sides have had issues here and there early on, but enter Sunday in very good form. That means this match has all the makings of being a pulsating 90 minutes of action.

Then again, both managers will be pleased with a point here, which is why we often see draws when teams of this quality face off against one another. That could also mean some very defensive tactics from Mourinho and Manuel Pellegrini. An early goal from either side would really open things up and make things much more interesting.

However, when it comes to our Soccer Picks, let's take a shot on the draw, as we simply see all of this talent canceling each other out.

Soccer Pick: Chelsea 1 Manchester City 1
