It's time for another classic Champions League match when Bayern Munich takes on Barcelona with both sides eyeing up the trophy of European Champions already.

At time of press both teams are on an unbeaten five match streak however Munich have won all of their last five games while Barcelona have a couple draws in the mix.

What is very likely that happen when these sides meet is will see plenty of goals as we know both sides can score.

It's worth remembering that Barcelona topped their Champions League group with 13 points from their six games and +6 goal difference. The Spanish giants only dropped points twice during group G with a goalless draw against Benfica and the oddity which was a 2-1 defeat against Celtic.

Bayern Munich had the same sort of run in their group stages of the Champions League group stage with four wins, one draw and one defeat but their goal difference of +8. The German outfit dropped points away to Lille and Valencia but still progressed to the next stage without any real problems.

Enough with the group action…WHERE’S THE MONEY MIKE?

Looking at the soccer odds, Barcelona are 7/4 to win the Champions League while Bayern  are 13/5, but more immediately Barca are 8/13 to qualify for the final while Munich are 6/5.

Obviously if Barcelona win a lot of people be excited by the thought of them facing off with Real Madrid who play their semi- final against Borussia Dortmund. It's worth noting that an all-Spanish finals available at 31/21 while an all-German final is available at 41/8.

Bayern Munich had the much easier quarter-final stage and made it through beating Juventus 2-0 twice, making it through with an aggregate score of 4-0 and if that's not clear enough for you, I'm saying the German outfit didn't concede a single goal. Barcelona by comparison made heavy work of beating Paris St-Germain, as they could only manage a 2-2 draw and an 1-1 draw although they made it through on the away goals rule despite having aggregate score against the French side of 3-3.

Your Humble Handicapper is expecting more from Barcelona as they have the skill and history will look perfectly comfortable in the Champions League final.

The last time these two sides met in the Champions League the game ended 1-1 but that was pretty much a foregone conclusion as Barcelona had beaten by Munich 4-0 in the home leg in their previous game. The first clash between the two sides are scheduled for 23 April and I couldn't be more excited, especially as I expect to make plenty of money from this game.

If you look at the four last meeting between the two sides, Barcelona have come out on top three times and the other time was a draw. Also, that it includes two friendlies where Barca came out on top 2-0 and 1-0, that tells you all you need to know for your soccer picks about who will make it through to the final.

Prediction: Barcelona progress to the final available at 8/13 with Sport Bet.
