London bragging rights are up for grabs when the Blues and Cottagers meet up at Craven Cottage. We know who the favorites are, but which side offers the best soccer betting value?

Odds Overview

Chelsea is a firm favorite at just above -200 at most sportsbooks, which is hardly surprising given Fulham's poor play this term. The Cottagers can be backed at anywhere from +650 to +750, while a draw is approaching +350 in the soccer odds.

In his first match in charge, new boss Felix Magath had to settle for a 1-1 draw at West Brom last weekend.

Ashkan Dejagah had put the visitors up with a goal in the 28nd minute but the Cottagers were under a lot of pressure throughout and eventually let in a goal in the second half. Still, a draw away from home is hardly the worst result in your Premier League debut.

Magath has a reputation for being a tough-minded coach who preaches fitness over everything else. There have been some horror stories from his past managerial stints, but the most important thing is that he's gotten results wherever he's been.

Fulham is in desperate need of a spark, as they're in dead last in the standings and four points away from escaping the relegation zone.

Is Magath the man to lead them into safety? There's still plenty of time, but the Cottagers' results at Craven Cottage have to be better. They've lost nine out of 13 matches at home this season and that's just not going to cut it.

Though they looked dominant in large portions of Wednesday's encounter with Galatasaray, the Blues couldn't put the match out of reach. Their early goal went to waste and the Turkish outfit fought back to get a 1-1 draw.

Chelsea looked threatening from the beginning and it didn't take them long to get off the mark. Fernando Torres slid the ball into an open net to finish off a nice team move and the Blues looked like they were going to cruise.

However, Galatasaray hung around and eventually evened up the honors with a goal off a corner kick in the second half. The Blues will hope to redeem themselves by pleasing the home support with a win in the return leg a few weeks from now.

Chelsea still has a Premier League race to concentrate on. First and fourth are separated by only four points, so any slip-ups now could prove mighty costly.

The Blues haven't exactly been flawless away from Stamford Bridge, but that's not stopping oddmakers from classing them as solid favorites this weekend.. So far this term they've recorded six wins, four draws and three losses, with their defensive record (12 goals allowed) helping them out significantly.

Premier League Pick

The Blues know how important points are at this stage in the season, but we don't foresee this being an easy occasion for Mourinho's men.

Fulham is in desperation mode right now and will have had much more time to prepare for this clash in London. The Blues had a tough match in Turkey just a few days ago, so we're sure to see some changes to the starting XI as well as some tired legs out there.

We think this is a great opportunity for the Cottagers to make a statement of intent that they're not ready to be relegated. Magath will have his players drilled and ready to go and we think they'll earn a point this weekend for our soccer picks.

Soccer Pick: Fulham 1 Chelsea 1
