First play second in Group F as the Europa League returns. This game looks one sided, but there’s still sports betting value to be found here. Join us as we examine the soccer odds in this match.

The difficult thing about soccer betting in the the Europa League is that just about anything can happen in any game. The whole purpose of the competition is that, at least in the group stage, all of the games should be highly competitive, and so it proved in the opening round.

Hosts Nicosia came through a tricky away tie against Maccabi Tel Aviv, drawing 0-0. Meanwhile, group favorites Frankfurt were surprisingly untroubled in winning 3-0 at home against Bordeaux.

That said, Frankfurt are not having a good season of it in the Bundesliga so far, having lost three of their first sixth games, and languish in 13th place. Nicosia, meanwhile, are having a much worse time of it in the supposedly much less competitive Cypriot League, having won only once all season.

It is no surprise, therefore, that Frankfurt are currently 11/10 favorites in just about every sports betting market, whilst you can get odds as long as 5/2 on a Nicosian win at Sports Winner. Under such conditions, the smart move is to look to other markets. For example, there are surprisingly good odds on there being more than 2.5 goals in this game when you consider that Frankfurt slotted three past a decent Bordeaux side only a fortnight ago. Back the 'Over' there at soccer odds of around 23/20.

You should also look at the half time/full time market, with Frankfurt to be ahead at both points. Bet365 offer 12/5 on that and that is a price not to be missed.
