We are heading back to Italy because there's plenty of soccer betting money just lying around there waiting to be picked up if you know where to look. Your Humble Handicapper knows just where to look, and one of those places is AC Milan versus Juventus.

Your Humble Handicapper had a very tidy run last week on the continent and you can join in with his winning winning ways in Italy next week. Serie A is where (some) big money is and your Humble Handicapper will happily point you in the right soccer picking direction.

Enough with the smugness…WHERE’S THE MONEY MIKE?

Juventus is on top of the Italian top-flight table although it was a close run derby match that gave them their latest 3 point haul. Carlos Tevez scored his 14th goal of the season for Juve with a half-volley from 20 yards after a pass from Kwadwo Asamoah that secured the win. The win that left Juventus nine points clear at the top of the Serie A table. The points were safe despite a late scare when Andrea Pirlo appeared to trip Torino’s Omar El Kaddouri in the area, but no penalty was given.

It was Juventus’ 17th successive victory and for the record, Torino have not beaten Juventus in the league since 1995, but it was hardly all one way traffic.

Enough with the last game…WHERE’S THE MONEY MIKE?

So without further ado let's get down to the basics Juventus are 11/10 to win this game while Milan are 5/2 and the draw is at best soccer odds of 12/5.

But, he shortest correct score odds are 1-1 at 11/2, followed by three Juve wins (2-1, 1-0 and 2-0).

Looking at the table shows us that Juventus are looking very tasty at present they have only failed to collect maximum points twice in their last 10 games and both of those were draws. They’ve won 21 games, drawn three and lost just one all season, out of the league run of 25 games.

In those 25 games they scored 60 goals and conceded just 19. If that was all the numbers that you crunched you’d bet on Juventus winning and you give them a scoreline of 2-1 and the shortest correct score odds on that result are 7/1, but your Humble Handicapper thinks will see something else.

Milan sit very mid in the table in ninth, one of two teams on 35 points, the other being Lazio. Milan seemed to be slap bang in the middle of mediocrity, with nine wins, eight draws and eight defeats, scoring 39 goals and conceding 35. Those numbers, (and only those numbers) suggest the aforementioned 1-1 draw.

Your Humble Handicapper says avoid the draw

Looking at the head-to-head stats between these two sides the home side has come out on top for the last four games and each game has been won, by a single goal margin. A C Milan winning by a single goal margin is available at 4/1 the complete reverse of that (Juventus by 1 goal) is available at 3/1.

There have only been two clean sheets in the last five meetings between these two sides one kept by Juventus and one by Milan, and you might want to back a side to win zero in this game because Juventus haven't conceded a goal in either of their last two games (but have conceded four overall in the last five).

Juve winning to nil is definitely worth bet at best soccer odds of 3/1. Milan winning to nil is at 5/1, but that's not what your Humble Handicapper expects, I see Juventus scoring and Juventus winning.

Prediction: Juventus 2-0 available at bets soccer odds of 11/1 with Stan James.
