It will be a celebratory day on Sunday as Chelsea fans expect their team to be crowned champions. They still need to win the game, so will they? Lee Phelps looks at the soccer odds & has a free pick.

Chelsea will finally be crowned Premier league champions this weekend having led the division all season and, in truth, have not had to fend off any serious threats throughout the campaign.

Chelsea
The only doubt in my mind for this game is how Jose Mourinho’s men win this game. All the muck slinging about Chelsea being ‘boring’ may motivate the side to attempt to win the title in style against Palace, but equally it wouldn’t surprise me if their head coach send them out to do a job and win 2-0, just to put two fingers up to the watching media.

Incidentally a two goal win would take them to 200 goals in Stamford Bridge London derbies if you like your quirky stats.

They have an imperious record against the Eagles, winning nine, drawing four and losing just of their last 14 encounters, while Mourinho’s record at the bridge is one of the strongest in football, which is why they are a clear favorite on the soccer odds board for this fixture. He has managed 95 times at home, winning 74, drawing 20 and losing one.

I’m looking at the PFA Player of the Year to get amongst the goals here, surely his team-mates will be helping to do that and with Ede hazard being on penalties as well, and I expect him to get chances. Palace have committed more fouls than any other team in the division, so a penalty or free-kick around the box wouldn’t be a big surprise.

<var>Keep Checking on SBR's Premier League Odds Board & Shop for the Best Prices on the Market</var>

Crystal Palace
You may think I’m dismissing this Alan Pardew team a little easily and you may be right. I wouldn’t have been so flippant before the last games, when it looked like they had done all their hard work and packed up for the season.

Two successive home defeat without scoring isn’t the best form to be going to the Champions’ ground, but Pardew has seen his team’ best form away from Selhurst Park. Plus he had a god record against them. He has won four of his last six Premier League matches as an opposition coach against Chelsea.

Soccer picks
I’m going for a straight forward Chelsea win and while Palace may try to limit them, I think they will be broken down eventually. I see them doing what they have don seven times before this season: winning 2-0 and because of that score line I’m going to chance a soccer pick on Eden Hazard scoring the first.

Free Soccer Pick: Eden Hazard to score first in a Chelsea win 6.0 (5/1) at Bet365

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":299903, "sportsbooksIds":[43], "LineTypeId":2, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]
