Napoli and Inter Milan lock horns on Sunday as both sides look to bounce back from their respective losses in round 25 of Serie A betting. Find out where the value soccer picks are to be had as we rundown through the soccer odds in this Serie A preview.

Napoli draw in Coppa Italia Semis
Napoli resume their Serie A campaign at the weekend after scoring a draw with Lazio in the first leg of their Coppa Italia semi-final on Wednesday, a 1-1 draw that leaves all to play for in Napoli when the second leg kicks off next month.

The defending champions Napoli fell behind early when Miroslav Klose lifted Lazio up 1-0 before half time at the Stadio Olimpico in the nation's capital. However, Gli Azzuri rallied valiantly, and in the 58th minute they were rewarded for their adventurous attacking. As Gonzalo Higuain's attempt to round the goalkeeper appeared to be going wide, Manolo Gabbiadini pounced on it and tucked it safely into the net. And just like that Napoli's quest for a second straight Coppa Italia title remains alive.

Elsewhere, Napoli also managed to advance into the R16 of Europa League, keeping their pursuit of another piece of silverware alive after de-pants-ing Trabzonspor 5-0 on aggregate. Indeed, after the R32 was put to bed, Napoli emerged as co-favorites with Wolfsburg to win it all, a soccer pick currently trading at +600 on the Europa soccer odds.

Napoli's Serie A Campaign Threatened
On the domestic front, Azzuri's campaign leaves a lot to be desired and they really need to pick up form if they hope to finish on a positive note, if not challenge for the title. As it is, the book on the Scudetto race is still open. However, Juventus have the winners market cornered on -2000 Serie A soccer future odds, which would mark their fourth consecutive title. Roma and Napoli are still in the running, but soccer odds of +1000 and +5000, respectively, trading on their chances to emerge winners are hardly a ringing endorsement.

Napoli are sat third behind league-leaders Juventus but wholly off pace with 13-6-6 mark and 45 points – 13 points adrift and in danger of slipping further behind; that is, if recent form were a sign of things to come. Even on good form, giving Juventus a run for their money is going to be a challenge. The Old Lady barely puts a foot wrong in Italy's top flight.

Realistically, Rafa Benitez's focus is probably going to be on a top-of-the-table finish and a Champions League spot for next season. Lazio and Fiorentina are both breathing uncomfortably down Napoli's neck in the table, fourth and fifth and just a handful of points away. Last week's wasteful loss to Torino allowed the pair to close the gap on Benitez's beloved Blues. Another loss in week 26 of Serie A betting would be unheard of charity, altruism on the grandest scale that almost certainly will be capitalised on when the pair collide the following day.(Lazio and Fiorentina are set to lock horns on Monday, a day after Napoli's date with Inter Milan).

Napoli Must Win
In more ways than one, this is a must-win game for Napoli. Fortunately, odds makers fancy their chances at -105 soccer odds to clinch all three points. This favorable outlook is partly down to home advantage – the Azzuri are 7-3-2 at home, which includes 28 goals scored and 17 conceded. As well, it's down to Inter's lack of form overall this season. Once Italian giants, they are but a shadow of their former glorious selves. Sat in ninth place in the table with a 9-8-8 mark and 35 points, Gli Nerazzuri strike a less than convincing pose. Hence, their large +300 soccer odds to mastermind the upset over Napoli. A negative outlook underscored by their modest 4-5-4 road form, which includes just 15 goals netted and 17 goals conceded. As well, by a recent 1-0 loss to Napoli in Coppa Italia.

Soccer Betting Verdict:
On balance, Napoli are a much better side than Inter Milan. That and they have plenty of confidence and good form to bank on when they welcome the Nerazzuri to Stadio San Paolo on Sunday. In all competitions, Napoli are riding a six-game winning streak at home;  in their last five home games, they conceded only two goals while scoring nine goals; and they've kept clean sheets in their last two games in a row. If that isn't a ringing endorsement for a Napoli win at -105 for your soccer picks, what is?
