Let’s go back to Italy and Serie A to win some more dosh. This time it’s Parma V Inter Milan that has caught your Humble Handicapper’s money winning eye.

There’s (even) more money to be won over on the continent if the way that the EPL is going makes you reticent to part with your hard earned wages. Your Humble Handicapper has already told you that Juventus will win Serie A (they are currently at a pointless 1/150 to take the title) but there’s still money there is you know where to look (and he does). Both Inter Milan and Parma are out of the running for the title, and even Napoli are 80/1 (Roma are second best soccer odds ta 25/1) but we all know that Juventus are going to win it.

Enough with Juventus...WHERE’S THE MONEY MIKE?
To put this match into a little bit of perspective, Inter are third favourites with the bookies at 100/1 to make a top three finish to the season, but odds like that tell mere mortals nothing. However, your Humble Handicapper knows that even though Inter are long shots for that one, they are closer than Parma who are out of the running for a top three finish.

Parma are in the running for a top four finish but they are 17/2 (6th from a pack of 7) to manage it whereas Inter Milan are second top dogs at 2/1, behind Fiorentina who are at best soccer odds of 2/7.

Be sure to check out the Serie A Betting Futures

Basics here
As for this immediate game the bookies like Parma winning it at 6/4, the draw is at 23/10 and Inter winning is at 15/8. I think you should stay well away from the game being drawn here, even if you remember that the last meeting between these two sides ended 3-3. A repeat of that score is at 50/1, whereas 2-2 is at 14/1, 1-1 is at 6/1 and 0-0 is at 10/1. The bookies like Parma winning at 2-1 and 1-0 before they like Inter winning, but the two shortest correct score odds on an Inter win are at (again) 1-0 and 2-1, so it makes sense to back the game being decided by a single goal, especially as it has been in two of the last three meetings. The bookies agree and they have either side winning by a goal at 9/10 (poor odds). It’s a little better for Parma winning by a single goal at 3/1, and they have Inter winning by a goal at 7/2.

Your Humble Handicapper doesn’t like the draw, as this fixture has only ended honours evens once in the last five meetings, and the four other times the game has gone the home sides way.

You might like to back the home side winning to nil, at best soccer odds of 7/2, as three of the last four victories have been to a side with a clean sheet but Parma have only kept one clean sheet in their last five games…so don’t. Also Inter gave scored eight goals in their last three games, so I'm confident of them finding the back of the net on Saturday, but they won’t win.

Therefore back BOTH sides to score at 4/6.

Prediction: Parma win 2-1 available at best soccer odds of 9/1 with Ladbrokes.
[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":262885, "sportsbooksIds":[43], "LineTypeId":2, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]
