We have nine European matches this Saturday afternoon and we will go through each one of them to find out the best soccer pick, as per usual don't forget to check the list of best sportsbooks and each of their lines across the board.

 England v Malta

Malta is ranked 176th in the world and this tiny island nation should be annihilated by England. They lost recent games 6-0 to the Czech Republic and 5-1 to Scotland. England is in turmoil after their manager was fired in a high-profile scandal, and will welcome the chance to make new headlines on the pitch. England should win with ease and as such the best odds you can get are -3300 at BetCris. You’ll need to give England a handicap to get value. A -3.75 Asian handicaps will get you a much more sensible -160 and that really should pay out given the gulf in class between these sides.

Northern Ireland v San Marino

Another complete mismatch sees an improving Northern Ireland side host a country that makes Malta look like a global superpower. San Marino has frequently been branded the world’s worst team and has spent most of its existence bottom of the FIFA world rankings. Their last two away games have seen them lose 10-0 to Croatia and 7-0 to Switzerland. Northern Ireland aren’t on that level but you’d expect them to get around four goals, so a -3.5 Asian handicap gets you -112 at BetCris.

Germany V Czech Republic

The final team that might need some sort of handicap is Germany. The World Cup holders and favorites for 2018 are just -400 to beat an average Czech Republic side, so going Germany half-time/full-time would get you -133. You would like to think Germany would start strong in front of their home fans, so that could be a good way of getting far better value out of this match.

Poland v Denmark

Poland has a fearsome attack, boasting Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski, who is in red-hot form this season, next to Napoli’s free-scoring striker Arkadiusz Milik. They have a far better recent history than Denmark, they are well above them in the world rankings and should win this one making the odds available of +105 at Bet365 very attractive.

Armenia v Romania

Romania isn't the greatest of sides, but they acquitted themselves pretty well at Euro 2016. The highlight was a draw with Switzerland, while they were only undone by a last minute winner from Dimitri Payet when they lost 2-1 to favorites France. Armenia has not won a competitive match in three years, and the odds on Romania winning this (+120) are inexplicably attractive, even if they are the away side.

Azerbaijan v Norway

Again Norway are nothing special in the world of soccer these days – like Romania their heyday was a couple of decades ago, when the likes of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, John Carew, Tore Andre Flo and John Arne Riise populated their squad – but they really should be beating Azerbaijan, even if they are away from home. They beat Azerbaijan 1-0 last time they traveled there and should pick up another narrow away win here (-110).

Montenegro v Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan did fantastically well to draw with Poland in their opening game and they are above Montenegro in the world rankings, so will go into this game full of confidence. But Montenegro, led by the likes of Steven Jovetic and Mirko Vucinic, are a dangerous side and can spring a surprise here (-182) at Bet365 by earning their first win in eight games.

Scotland v Lithuania

Scotland will be full of confidence after thrashing Malta last time out, and they should pick up another win here. Neither of these teams is expected to qualify for the World Cup, but Scotland is the better team. This is evidenced by Scotland being second favorites to win the group – behind England – with odds of +800, while Lithuania is all the way out at +25000. Scotland will enjoy home advantage and should win this (-200). If you want more value to try Scotland and under 3.5 goals (+100).

Slovenia v Slovakia

This should be a tight game, but Slovakia is superior overall and will be seeking to get their qualifying bid back on track after an unlucky defeat to England in their opener. They should finish second in this group and can take a step in the right direction by defying the bookmakers – who have them as outsiders – and picking up a vital away win (+250). If you are worried about backing Slovakia outright, Slovakia-draw double chance is -170.
