DC United added Wayne Rooney to its roster and the former Manchester United striker did not disappoint, leading his new mates past Vancouver in Week 20. Can they keep it going this week?

The former Manchester United and Everton striker had an assist in his first game with DC United, but <a href="https://www.sportsbookreview.com/betting-odds/soccer/" title="MLS Odds">Rooney’s side will be up against it in Atlanta on Saturday</a> (3:30 p.m. ET) as more than 70,000 fans will come to support 1st-place Atlanta United FC (6-3-2 at home) and give Rooney a warm American welcome, no doubt boosted by early afternoon beer consumption.</p><p dir="ltr"><img height="87" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/i9OyAlX9KpRcMZ2axzErm7o7h01s-GS4z91TLKIE1di4zfdqz-e0mFn7qJWwtzWEqDHORusb2p6nVWRjIwoyL7xzp4cSrqj836-qpVh0mtobFxHWqJqRGhFVRCTWsA5wdxtI4KjV" width="437" /></p><p dir="ltr">With the moneyline so high on The Five Stripes (-260, <a href="https://www.sportsbookreview.com/Sportsbook/?v=4519&amp;book=BOVADA" rel="nofollow" title="Top Rated Sportsbook">Bovada</a>), looking at the total seems wise with Atlanta FC F Josef Martínez (19 goals) <a href="https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2018/07/16/josef-martinez-ahead-pace-break-single-season-goalscoring-record">on pace to break the MLS single-season scoring record</a>. And although there is currently a 2½ (-250, <a href="https://www.sportsbookreview.com/Sportsbook/?v=4528&amp;book=SportsInteraction" rel="nofollow" title="Top Rated Sportsbook">SportsInteraction</a>) available offshore, backing the "over 3½" is probably more available to the masses, and with Rooney and the visitors likely to get one (and having nothing to lose at this point) and Atlanta probably good for 3 in this now high-profile spot, there should be 4 goals scored with a possible repeat scoreline of the 3-1 Atlanta win March 11. These East clubs have played 4 times (ATL 3-1 DC, DC 1-0 ATL, DC 2-1 ATL, ATL 1-3 DC) with the home side and DCU 3-0-1 in 3 games with at least 3 goals, with two 4-goal matches in Atlanta. <strong>Predicted final score:</strong> Atlanta United FC, 3 DC United 1.</p><p dir="ltr"><img height="131" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/ZBVwBtFMR2Ep7qMc9GEMKC4xwAVw4IUsvanBeK06XUqclpy7mRm7bgIHvPxIXwTw9gBUVVnG-KcQzscjz-Nwy7IsAu7bs7WWDDOzeIRZ7Y0YqZLlLTwmj8rlW_q5MJxBgaRxn9VF" width="432" /></p><p dir="ltr"> </p><h2 dir="ltr" style="text-align:center"><a href="https://www.sportsbookreview.com/betting-odds/mls/columbus-crew-vs-orlando-city-sc-3411557/" title="Game Odds">Columbus Crew (8-6-7) vs. Orlando City SC (7-1-11)</a></h2><h2 dir="ltr" style="text-align:center">Free MLS Pick: Crew -1 -150</h2><h2 dir="ltr" style="text-align:center">Best Line Offered: <a href="https://www.sportsbookreview.com/Sportsbook/?v=4521&amp;book=Heritage" rel="nofollow" title="Top Rated Sportsbook">Heritage</a></h2><p dir="ltr">[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":3411557, "sportsbooksIds":[169,999996,1096,93,1275], "LineTypeId":1, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]</p><p dir="ltr">In the last 5 meetings between these Eastern Conference clubs (ORL 0-1 CLB, ORL 1-1 CLB, CLB 2-0 ORL, ORL 1-4 CLB, CLB 2-2 ORL), the home side has just 1 win with the Crew going 2-2-1 over that span, outscoring Orlando City (2-0-7 on road) 10-4 and scoring in every meeting. With new head coach James O’Connor, OCSC finally won a fixture and snapped a losing streak, beating defending champ Toronto FC 2-1, but the Lions catch Gyasi Zardes (11 goals) and Columbus (6-3-2 at home) in a bad spot Saturday (7:30 p.m. ET) with the Crew off a loss and losers of 4 of 5, but still, Dominic Dwyer (8 goals) and OCSC have been outscored 25-7 since the misery began.</p><p dir="ltr"><img height="83" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/HrKYNFJjFDPFuCXRqmv1EhThi0482Oah6q5nzr6I-iOIZkp_dO75rJP8HWBkbZMal8a4C6L8yHHP-1S5tNGfkzWJgiLcnGAPPY9NqqQgKJjMxyU5L-RDvZCNLUQUwzZKbDH5Qndd" width="314" /></p><p dir="ltr">The wiseguy early offshore bettors know this, betting Columbus up as high as 90 cents already from an opening -154 to as high as -244 (<a href="http://https://www.sportsbookreview.com/Sportsbook/?v=4515&amp;book=BetOnline" rel="nofollow" title="Top Rated Sportsbook">BetOnline</a>) by Monday afternoon, meaning anyone who gets in the market now and wants to back the home chalk will either be getting “the worst of it” or be forced to approach the match in the goal-line market. And laying anything higher than 1 (goal) seems risky, eliminating the chance to get your money back should the Crew win by 1. So shopping and finding the (Columbus minus) 1 seems a decent route, or using the Crew on the moneyline as a parlay element along with Atlanta United and some other picks seems wisest. <strong>Predicted final score:</strong> Columbus Crew 3, Orlando City 1.</p><p dir="ltr"><img height="83" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/fWoFtAlBnC8-zHlbfHHsEBlVrxnri5Ex2JhcGwCoFe4uRnGpInwo0PvdoxBP78ieOayFOfiw1egZIHENEZtDjFSJfNZeu8LIXEJlFSqhsVj08CAV55fLCzI-GdFiSolKC7M7vOq_" width="624" /></p><h2 dir="ltr" style="text-align:center"><br /><a href="https://www.sportsbookreview.com/betting-odds/mls/houston-dynamo-vs-fc-dallas-3411730/" title="Game Odds">Houston Dynamo (7-5-6) vs. FC Dallas (11-5-3)</a></h2><h2 dir="ltr" style="text-align:center">Free MLS Pick: Under 3 -120</h2><h2 dir="ltr" style="text-align:center">Best Line Offered: <a href="https://www.sportsbookreview.com/Sportsbook/?v=4521&amp;book=Heritage" rel="nofollow" title="Top Rated Sportsbook">Heritage</a></h2><p dir="ltr">[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":3411730, "sportsbooksIds":[169,999996,1096,1275,93], "LineTypeId":3, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]</p><p dir="ltr">Houston (6-1-2 at home) has disappointed a bit while FC Dallas sits in 1st place in the competitive Western Conference, thanks in great part to its wonderful road record (4-1-3). A look at the L5 meetings in this Texas Derby (FCD 3-3 HOU, HOU 1-1 FCD, FCD 0-0 HOU, HOU 1-3 FCD, FCD 1-1 HOU) reveals FC Dallas the only side able to take 3 points over that span in very tight fixtures and the home team winless. With four draws in the L5 meetings, shopping for the highest number (+304, <a href="https://www.sportsbookreview.com/Sportsbook/?v=4527&amp;book=Pinnacle" rel="nofollow" title="Top Rated Sportsbook">Pinnacle</a>) may be a wise option for this matchup Saturday (9 p.m. ET), and it’s hard to see that number getting any higher.</p><p dir="ltr"><img height="74" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/DX_aBb6Ek2t0VmCH8uve4Qy1wREM31xYAY1litzpS21NRtIGVYuL8E3ROgLAzLk4Z4RDNAQr8y9_H8XDXl6eaaD5_cRNaAe7CDQWXeWumpMvbUd_om8r4KQQgP5_8yCuUw2SI_kt" width="533" /></p><p dir="ltr">Alberth Elis (9 goals), Mauro Manotas (9 goals) and the 6th-place Dynamo (36 GF/26 GA) will need this fixture more than Roland Lamah (7 goals), Max Urruti (6 goals) and FCD, but <a href="https://www.sportsbookreview.com/picks/more-sports/" title="Free Sports Picks">expect defense to rule the night here</a> with a limited number of quality shots on target and a potential boring stalemate of sorts to possibly break out. <strong>Predicted final score:</strong> Houston Dynamo 0, FC Dallas 0.</p>
