As you would expect, Los Blancos are humungous favorites for Saturday's date with Rayo Vallecano. How can we best approach our soccer picks to get maximum value?

Odds Overview
It's going to be mighty difficult to find any value in this match. Why's that? Well, Real Madrid is listed at an insanely high odds of -1300.

That, of course, means Rayo is a massive underdog. Oddsmakers have listed the away side at a wide range of prices, starting at right around +2500 and going all the way up to +3500. A draw is also a longshot, as evident by a quote nearing +1500.

Real Madrid
We've penned numerous articles about Real Madrid this season, and each time we've taken the obvious route, recommending them time and time again.

More often than not, it's worked out in our favor. Though they weren't able to win by two or more goals in their recent encounter with Liverpool in Champions League action, they still got the three points, while also extending their ever-growing winning run. The winning goal came off the boot of Karim Benzema in the victory over the Reds.

Real Madrid has now won 12 straight matches across all competitions, a stunning feat.

However, though Los Blancos have stormed through their group in Europe, they haven't been able to pull away in the extremely competitive La Liga this season. Right now they're just one point up on both Valencia and Atletico Madrid and two points clear of Barcelona, who are always a threat to make a run to the top.

What that means is Cristiano Ronaldo and company can't really afford any slipups in league play. There are some very talented teams ready to pounce on to that top spot.

Rayo Vallecano
For those who don't know much about Rayo, here's a brief overview of how they've done this season. At this time, the team can be found in 12th place in La Liga, with a total of 11 points in 10 matches. They have a minus-six goal differential.

Lately, the results have left a lot to be desired.

Rayo first lost 4-0 away to Malaga, but it was expected that they're bounce back with a better showing at home versus Eibar in the following playday. However, that wasn't to be, as Rayo lost 3-2 at home for their second consecutive defeat. Eibar has been one of the pleasant surprises of the league this season, but that was still a great spot for Vallecano to get three points.

And now, here we are. Rayo faces arguably the toughest league fixture they'll see all season, and recent form suggests potential backers may want to re-consider their stance. Thus far, Rayo has picked up two wins, two losses and a draw in five away league matches in the 2014/15 campaign.

As far as individuals go, Leo Baptistao has been the team's leading man with six goals to his name, while Bueno has added four La Liga goals this season. Other names that may stand out include former Gael Kakuta, on loan from Chelsea, and former Liverpool defender Emiliano Insua.

La Liga Pick
First things first: we're not touching Rayo here.

Glad that's out of the way. Now, let's get to business. We are backing another Real Madrid win, but to get more bang for our buck, we've got to take a chance somewhere.

With that said, we're recommending another convincing win for the Soccer Betting favorites. Aside from a rare setback at home to Atletico (2-1), Real Madrid has had little trouble at home in league play, scoring 15 goals (allowing two) in four matches. That includes a statement 3-1 victory over none other than Barcelona in their last La Liga match at the Bernabeu.

With the way Los Blancos have been performing, we have no other choice but to predict a dominant victory. Our Soccer pick is Real Madrid to win by at least three goals this weekend.
