It’s a reduced fixture list in the Premier League this week, so let's split our attention between those matches and the FA Cup action taking place this weekend.

Let’s get to the Premier League tips first. Of the four games, I’m quite happy to say I have three selections for your soccer picks. That’s more than I thought I would have going into this weekend, so it has been a pleasant surprise.

Huddersfield vs. Crystal Palace

Both sides in Saturday's game are far from safe in this one, so this will be a hard-fought match. I’m generally of the opinion that as games get tighter and the points become ever more important, players suffer a bit from mental strain. It’s easier to play football when you’re chasing the title than when you’re battling relegation. That often shows itself in the ambition that sides display when they’re up against it. This is definitely a big match for both sides and I think the pressure could get to both teams. For that reason I’m going for the draw at +219 with Pinnacle.

Stoke vs. Everton

This is another game where points are much sought-after. I think there has been some improvement at Stoke since Paul Lambert took over, but whether it’s enough is something we’ll find out later in the season. Everton enjoyed a “new manager bounce” after Sam Allardyce took over, but things have got a bit stale again recently. I’m on the draw on Saturday's match, and at +229 with Pinnacle you improve on the odds from the last bet.

Bournemouth vs. West Bromwich Albion

I’m on a straight home win for this game Saturday as I have no faith whatsoever in Alan Pardew to raise his players for this game. Bournemouth is a good side and its style of football will cause WBA some problems. Take the -111 that Pinnacle has on offer. I don’t think you’ll be sorry.

Over to the FA Cup. This is a tough round to profit from, but let's try.

Spurs vs. Swansea

I’m on "Both Teams To Score" in Saturday's game. Tottenham hasn’t been particularly convincing in Cup competitions this season and Swansea has been on a bit of a tear. I don’t like the idea of getting involved in the match odds market but at +120 with BetFair, backing both teams to hit the back of the net is an option I’m happy to take up.

Beyond that, I’m content to leave the FA Cup alone and just enjoy the matches. I hope you enjoy whatever game you sit down to after checking the soccer odds board and making your selections.
