Match day 3 of the Premier League kicks off this weekend. We bring our weekly game-by-game previews here, along with choice soccer picks.

Match Day 3 Preview
Can Manchester City continue their winning form at the expense of Everton on the road? For that matter, can Leicester City do the same at the expense of Tottenham? What about Chelsea? Will they finally get a “W” in the win column? Those are just some of the many questions soccer bettors must weigh in before settling on their soccer picks this weekend. All in all, match day 3 is shaping up to be a right cracker. So let’s get started with our predictions.

Man United vs. Newcastle United
Manchester United are enjoying fine form to start the season. They are after back-to-back wins over Tottenham and Aston Villa in EPL, as well winning their midweek Champions League clash with Club Brugge in sensational style. Newcastle United, meanwhile, are still winless on the season having settled on a 2-2 draw with Southampton in their season opener and lost to Swansea City in match day 2 EPL betting. Home advantage as well as form tips this game towards Man United, who are trading as the -275 favourites to win outright on our soccer picks.

Soccer Picks: Man U at -275 at Bet365

Crystal Palace vs. Aston Villa
Crystal Palace and Aston Villa set up a rather intriguing match on the Premier League odds board. Both are coming off losses in round 2 after winning their season openers and are level on three points in the table. Crystal Palace beat Norwich 3-1 but succumbed at home to Arsenal 2-1 last weekend. Aston Villa beat AFC Bournemouth 1-0 but slipped to Manchester United 1-0 in the following week. As each side looks to bounce back on match day 3, odds makers tip the scale towards Crystal Palace at home as the -118 favourites. Aston Villa, matched at +375 to win outright, might fancy their chances. If not to win, then at least to take the draw. Last season, Aston Villa remained undefeated against Crystal Palace by winning on the road and settling on a scoreless draw at Villa Park. Soccer bettors that want to hedge their bets might consider taking the double result with a draw or Aston Villa win at -105 at Bet365.

Soccer Picks: Draw +260 or Aston Villa to win or draw at -105

Leicester vs. Tottenham
The attacking intent of both the Foxes and Spurs suggests this could be a wide open affair that could go either way. It’s somewhat surprising that Leicester City have collected maximum points in the first two weeks while the Spurs have picked up just one of six. Ranieri and the Spurs will look upon this match as a winnable game; however, Leicester City might have other ideas considering they are riding a wave of confidence into this weekend’s highly-anticipated clash.  This matchup offers one of the tightest soccer betting lines, with Leicester trading at +163 and Tottenham trading at +175. We’re leaning towards the hosts at +163 or the double result option at Leicester to win or draw at -222.

Soccer Picks: Leicester City at +163 or Leicester City to win or draw at -222

Norwich vs. Stoke
Norwich City took advantage of a shaky Sunderland defence to record their first win of the season in the last lap around Premier League. Stoke City forced the 2-2 draw on the Spurs at White Hart Lane, marking their first point of the season after opening with a loss to Liverpool. The Potters will be playing their second straight road game this week, but this is a winnable game on paper. Stoke City to win their first match of the season at +240 soccer odds is our recommended soccer pick here.

Soccer Picks: Stoke City +240

Sunderland vs. Swansea
Sunderland are struggling conspicuously having lost both their games at the start of the season, a run of form that has them trading as the home underdogs at +300 soccer odds at Bet365. Swansea City masterminded one of the big upsets of match day 1 when they held Chelsea to a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge. On match day 2, they easily beat Newcastle United 2-0 at home. On the strength of their current form, they appear to be the smart soccer pick at +110 soccer odds to win outright.

Soccer Picks: Swansea City +110

West Ham vs. Bournemouth
After stunning Arsenal in week 1 at the Emirates, the Hammers came crashing back down to earth with a thud. Losing to the Foxes 2-1 at home to the shock of all their fans. After underestimating Leicester City, think you the Hammers will underestimate the promoted Bournemouth? Colour the world shocked if they do.

Soccer Picks: West Ham +138

West Brom vs. Chelsea
Admittedly, we backed West Brom to upset Man City in the first round of EPL betting. We we’re way off the mark with that soccer pick as the Citizens crushed West Brom 3-0. Still, we’re huge fans of Tony Pulis and Chelsea appears to be wholly off form and off colour right now. On paper, this might seem an easy win for the Blues. Heck, odds makers send them into the clash as the conspicuous road faves at -163 at Bet365. West Brom, meanwhile, are trading at +550 soccer odds at home. An absurdly high price that’s just too good to ignore. We’re backing West Brom on our soccer picks, but don’t go betting the farm on it.

Soccer Picks: West Brom +550

Everton vs. Man City
Manchester City are riding back-to-back wins ahead of their date with Everton at Goodison Park. They have the confidence and form and appear to be the smart soccer pick at favourable -138 soccer odds to win outright. The Toffees can be tough to beat at home though; they are undefeated on the season having settled on a 2-2 draw to Watford and beating Southampton 3-0 on the road. Given their form, it’s too early in the season for them to be trading as the considerable +400 underdogs at home. Man City may be leading the league, but we’re only two matches in. As such, Everton at +400 to win outright is a value pick, if not Everton to win or draw at +115.

Soccer Picks: Everton to win at +400 or Everton to win or draw at +115

Watford vs. Southampton
Southampton are searching for their first win on the season when they descend on Watford. The hosts are also searching for their first win of the season but, unlike the visitors, they are undefeated behind back-to-back draws. They played above their heads to hold Everton to a 2-2 draw in their season opener and then holding West Brom to a scoreless draw at home. Southampton should be a tougher ask though.

Soccer Picks: Southampton +175

Arsenal vs. Liverpool
Liverpool look to remain undefeated on the season when they take on Arsenal at the Emirates on Monday. Arsenal were slow out of the gates, stunned by West Ham in their home opener. They bounced back with a pivotal road win over Crystal Palace at the weekend. Now, they’ll look to build on that result as they round out into form in match day 3. Liverpool are no slouches and they should give Arsenal a run for their money, but look for the Gunners at -138 soccer odds to edge the Reds nevertheless.

Soccer Picks: Arsenal -138
