Liverpool top the Premier League form table ahead of week 30 EPL betting and that kind of form will stand them in good stead against a surging Manchester United. We preview this thrilling clash of England's top-flight high flyers and deliver our soccer betting verdict.

Liverpool Look To Continue Impressive Form
Liverpool are the most in-form club in Premier League betting right now and they'll look to continue their standard-setting ways when they host Manchester United on Sunday. However, they can't take anything for granted because Van Gaal's Red Devils  are in good form too at the moment and could spring a surprise at Anfield.

That's probably why the soccer betting market on this game isn't entirely cornered in Liverpool's camp. The hosts are notionally favoured at +110  soccer odds to win outright, just a smidgen above even money. Needless to say, the soccer odds aren't so much a slight towards the Reds as a token of respect to their opponents, who are riding high in the Premier League form guide as well.

Liverpool top the table with 16 points in their last six games overall (as well as collecting 16 points both home and away), while Man United are in third place with 13 points in their last six games overall (as well as collecting 15 in their last six home games and 9 points in their last road games). If there were a sliver of hope for Reds fans looking to bank on the home win, by the stats it's Man United's lack consistency on their travels (as evinced by the nine points from their last six away games).

Liverpool's Home Form
The Reds are undefeated in their last nine league games at Anfield Stadium, since a 2-1 loss to league-leading Chelsea. There's plenty to like about this run of form, especially as it includes some really good wins over Swansea City, Man City and Tottenham Hotspur. They also held Arsenal, another high flyer on the form table, to a 2-2 draw.

Those are encouraging results for Brendan Rogers and the Reds, and it's not by accident either rather by design. Rodgers reshuffled his starting XI and opted for a three-at-back scheme that has seen immediate rewards to his sides defensive stats especially when taking on lighter opponents. Case-and-point clean sheets against Burnley and West Ham United.

Manchester United's Road Form
Manchester United's fight for a Top Four finish is well and alive. They are in fourth place with a 16-8-5 record and 56 points, only a point behind Arsenal (third) and two points behind Man City (second) and eight points behind Chelsea (at the top). Crucially, they are only two points clear of Liverpool, which sets up a dramatic back story to their battle this weekend.

Man United's good standing has more to do with how they've accounted at the Old Trafford than their travels through 29 rounds of Premier League betting. Hence, they are the slight long shots at +280 to win outright. As is the draw at +250 soccer odds.

Strictly speaking, the title race continues to rage on down the stretch. Chelsea have a commanding lead but they've yet to finish the job. A couple of stumbles recently have allowed their rivals to quietly entertain lofty hopes. It's left the book open for the Premier League title race across sportsbook platforms, with trades on several clubs still being exchanged.

Amongst those with a notional shot are Man United, but at +6600 on the Premier League odds board a lot would have to go their way in order for this to be a viable soccer pick in Premier League futures betting.  The obvious would be further stumbles by Chelsea and Man City down the stretch. As well, as doing their part by rising to the challenge.

Make no mistake, pulling off such a feat even with nine games left on the season (a maximum of 27 points up for grabs) would be a spectacular feat. Still, Van Gaal is a wily coach that's sure to use all the guile at his disposal at Anfield on Sunday. Given the stakes on the line in this game, it would be criminal if he doesn't go all out for the three points up for grabs.

Soccer Betting Verdict:
It's never a good idea to bank against a top-tier home side, but when the visitors are worthy opponents, capable of the upset, it warrants consideration. Indeed, consensus soccer betting is split down the middle with wins by each side attracting the money coming down the wire.

Liverpool have the form to edge this game and that makes them a tempting soccer pick at +110. They also have the incentive as well. Only two points separate them from Man United and a win would see them leapfrog into fourth place. By that same token, Man United would move five points clear of Liverpool with a win at Anfield Stadium. That's incentive too.

Whichever way you slice this game on your soccer picks, it's sure to be a thriller. For our money, our eyes are drawn by Man United's +280 soccer odds. There have been a few key stumbles in recent weeks and we feel this matchup might serve up another, if only to make the race to the Premier League title a real dogfight to the end.
