As the Premier League season winds down the battles on both sides of the table are set to heat up. Here’s a rundown of all the action on match day 34, complete with soccer picks.

Match Day 33 Recap
With both Leicester City and Tottenham winning in the last lap, the Foxes maintained their seven-point edge over the Spurs in the table and with five matches left to decide the Premier League title the race is sure to heat up.  As it is, Leicester City are now the runaway favorites to win the Premier League title installed on -700 soccer odds with bet365 outright markets while the Spurs are the next-best bet at +500 soccer odds. Although the narrative is all about the rags-to-riches Foxes pulling it off when all is said and done.

Elsewhere, Man United slipped to defeat and, thereby, regressed in their bid for a Top 4 spot, while relegation-threatened Sunderland, Newcastle United and Norwich City all came away empty-handed in the last lap, ensuring the relegation battle sees another thrilling chapter.

Here we look at match day 34 soccer odds according to bet365 and below we weigh in on some of the must-spot bets for your soccer picks.

Norwich vs. Sunderland
Both the Canaries and Black Cats are coming off losses in the last lap around Premier League, thereby Norwich maintain their four-point edge over Sunderland. However, the Black Cats have a game in hand, making this a relegation six-pointer in every sense of the term. It’s a must-win game for both sides. Given the premium on the win and the significance towards the relegation battle the outcome of this clash has, it’s somewhat surprising the market is so wide on this game with Norwich priced a bit too short at +140 and Sunderland a touch to large at +240. In all likelihood, this is going to be a close contest with each side looking to avoid defeat. As such, it’s a right tossup most soccer bettors might prefer swerving altogether. However, for our money, Sunderland’s road form takes the shine off of them. So we’re backing Norwich to win at home at +140 soccer odds.

Everton vs. Southampton
This is one of the tightest markets available for the weekend’s round of Premier League betting. Indeed, the soccer odds have been oscillating between Everton and Southampton, each side trading as the slight favorite over the other as the market balances the action coming down the wire. Everton, currently the slight underdogs at +180, have home advantage but recent form is nothing to write home about. Arguably, the mark against them though is the fact that their focus is sure to be elsewhere with the FA Cup final with Man United looming. It is Everton’s only shot at silverware this season and Roberto Martinez is sure to be mindful of that. On the flipside of the coin, Southampton are looking to make a push for the Top 6. They are just two points behind West Ham United in sixth place.  What’s more, the Saints do have form coming into this game, which only adds weight to their soccer odds. You can back a Southampton win at Goodison Park at the best price of +187 at BetOnline.

Leicester City vs. West Ham United
The Foxes welcome the Hammers to King Power on Sunday, all while looking to advance their bid in the title race. By the end of Sunday, they could be 10-points ahead of Tottenham (the Spurs play in Monday’s lone fixture). What a heady thought and if the Spurs fail in their ensuing clash at the Pottery, they might as well cede the title race to Leicester City there and then. In any event, we digress. The Hammers are no walk in the park and loom large. They’ve played spoilers to several clubs this season, including a win over Arsenal at the Emirates in their season-opener, which is incidentally one of two sides that has beaten the Foxes this term (Arsenal beat Leicester City both home and away). Consider if the Hammers can beat an Arsenal side that claimed two wins over the Foxes, they must fancy their chances against Leicester City surely. If there’s going to be a dramatic match this week this has the potential to serve up the requisite drama. On one hand, betting against Leicester City is ill-advised given their season, but it wouldn’t do to underestimate West Ham United either on your soccer picks. So while we’d lean towards Leicester City as the -105 soccer pick, it might be a smarter play to hedge our soccer picks with Leicester City to win or draw at -400. It’s also worth mentioning, Leicester City draw no bet is trading at -225 soccer odds or thereabouts, and might be the better alternative altogether.
