Crystal Palace vs. Cardiff

10 a.m. Dec. 26

The Eagles will be soaring with confidence after picking up a stunning victory against Premiership champions Man City at the weekend. It was the shock of the season, as Man City had looked invincible and they were expected to win by a huge margin. But a world-class strike from Andros Townsend helped them to a 3-2 victory and they are now up to 14th in the table after taking maximum points in their last two games.

Cardiff remain marooned in 17th after they were thrashed 5-1 by Man Utd on Saturday, and confidence will be low among their players. Their defending was abysmal at times, and they will struggle to contain the likes of Wilfried Zaha and Townsend in this game. Palace are -150 with Pinnacle and 10Bet to win this and that looks really attractive,

Leicester vs. Man City

10 a.m. Dec. 26

Pep Guardiola’s men now find themselves four points adrift of league leaders Liverpool, so this is a huge game for them. However, Leicester are fresh from an impressive 1-0 win against Chelsea, so they will represent tough opposition in this match. They will not see much of the ball, but they have the ability to break with pace and incision and forwards like Jamie Vardy and James Maddison can hurt the Citizens. It should prove to be an entertaining game and some fans might be tempted by the enormous odds of +836 on the home win at Pinnacle. However, it is hard to see Man City losing two in a row, and both teams to score might make a better option at -110 with Bet365. Man City have not kept a clean sheet in their last eight games and they have only failed to score in one match all season. These teams played out a 1-1 draw in the league cup a week ago and a similar could be on the cards here.

Liverpool vs. Newcastle

10 a.m. Dec. 26

Liverpool have racked up more points than any other Premiership team has ever managed at this point of the season. They have picked up 15 wins and three draws from 18 games and they remain the only unbeaten team in the English football league. Mohamed Salah is in magnificent form and they have banged in 39 goals during that time, but even more impressive is the meanness of their defence, which has yielded a mere seven goals. Virgil Van Dijk is making a compelling case to be named the world’s best defender, and Alisson has made a world of difference since replacing Loris Karius in goal. Jurgen Klopp has an embarrassment of riches in midfield, and there really does not seem to be a weak point in the team. They should have little trouble dispatching a stubborn but limited Newcastle team. Rafa Benitez’s side have only managed 14 goals in 18 games and they are down in 15th, having lost half of their matches. Liverpool win to nil at -133 with William Hill and -120 with Bet Victor looks really tempting here.

Man Utd v Huddersfield

10 a.m. Dec. 26

A feel-good factor has returned to the Man Utd camp after unpopular manager Jose Mourinho was axed. The extremely popular Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has come in to replace him until the end of the season, propped up by the well-respected Mike Phelan, and the new era began with a 5-1 thumping of Cardiff on Saturday. It was the first time Man Utd have scored five goals in the league since Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013. Solskjaer has taken over at a perfect time, as Man Utd now have another straightforward game against Huddersfield to look forward to. The Terriers really lack bite this season and they come into this game on the back of a five-match losing streak. Man Utd -1.75 Asian handicap is -105 with Bet365 and if they play like they did away at Cardiff they should easily cover that in front of a reinvigorated set of home fans.
